How do FEers explain the curved shadow?

It is a wonderful picture, albeit more symbolic than anything. In truth, only an infinitesimally small portion of the Earth would be in shadows. I see these kinds of pictures more as religious iconography than anything else.

It's obviously fake.  Space travel is not technologically feasible.

Are you really 12?  He wants proof of it not being "technologically feasible".

It's not feasible due to the necessary constant acceleration of the ship.

Which would only have to be higher than the acceleration of gravity.  Have you ever seen an air show?  Have you seen the fighters go straight up?  Why is it not possible for a ship that is built to go straight up, do so for such a long period of time?

Do you know what those fighters use to go straight up?  Fuel.  Lots of it.

Why?  He's not doing any space travel.  His ship barely sticks it's nose into 'space'.

And you think it's possible to go into space but not travel in it?  What if he were to go on the "side" of the earth and move out of it's way?  Wouldn't the early "fly" past him?

ferseriously, i love my global earth, and alot more now that i've heard the rediculousness of all these conflicting theories, some hardcore FEers dont even get their theories straight, some of them, quite simply, have their own ..

It's not feasible due to the necessary constant acceleration of the ship.

You've analyzed all the technology of their designs that are patented?  For some reason I doubt it...

No, I havent.  I'm not the one trying to disprove their designs, he is.  Therefore The Engineer is the one who has to support his false declarations with some form of evidence and logic.

I don't have to.  The simple fact that a ship has to maintain an acceleration of 1g means that there must be mass constantly ejected from the ship.  That's a lot of mass to have to carry with them.  That would make for a very large, very heavy ship.  One which would probably not get off the ground.

the rockets each generate 300000 pounds per foot of thrust the body is aerodynamic and creates lift amazingly not hard at all

What happens when there is no mass left to eject from the ship?

Pounds per foot is not a measure of thrust.  I'm not sure what you are trying to say.

what are you taking about pounds per square is thrust in this case. The gas and solid fuel is hyper compressed

TRUST=the force in a direction
pounds per square foot isnt direction dependent

you need not worry about running out of fuel tell your out of the atmosphere

Pounds per square foot is not a measurement of thrust.  I could see you saying pounds per cubic foot, that would give a quantitative thrust to the amount of fuel carried.

If you ran out of mass out of the atmosphere, the earth would catch up to you and you would die.

You're an idiot. No rocket could keep up with the Earth's acceleration.
