Please name one, just one, fact that proves the earth is flat.  I will counter it in 24 hours.

It takes alot less than 24 hours to counter the "proofs" here!! :D

Take any three points on earth with a significant distance apart (Paris, London, and Berlin, for instance) and measure the angles between the points. If the earth were a globe the angles would add up to more than 180 degrees. This is called positive curvature and would prove the Earth is round. If the angles measure to be exactly 180 degrees, as they do in plain-old Euclidean geometry, it implies that the earth is a flat surface. Triangles whose angles measure less than 180 degrees imply a negative curvature (like a horse saddle).

You can do the triangle thing, but you must confine yourself to the surface of the earth. Little will be noticed with three cities that close together. You must use three very distance cities to notice the difference. However, you must also use geodesic lines to connect those points. The experiment has been done many times, including by a friend of mine, and the angles do NOT add to 180. They add to greater than that every time.

Tom, you just got pwned.

The phrase "my friend did this experiment many times" doesn't count as substantial evidence in my book.

I've done this experiment myself, measuring points between Hawaii, New York, and Mexico. My results brought me to the conclusion of a Flat Earth.

To answer your question correctly-

it isn't.

I have a PhD in Physics. We did these experiments many times on the surface of the earth. Tom Bishop, describe your proceedure in full detail to me.

You spelled procedure wrong and berlin paris and england or w/e are pretty close together
You can't prove this indisputably because a map is'nt perfectly scaled neither is location of place on map to the distance

this "explanation" makes absolutely no sense.
