"There are even entire countries who believe in a Flat Earth." - Tom Bishop

Tom Bishop,
What countries may these be?
"Oh, judge, your damn laws: the good people don't need them and the bad people don't follow them so what good are they?"

Tom Bishop,

Ones with no space program/intelligence.

Why didn't they just call the place Miniminds, to reflect on their brain capacities.

I'm glad someone else agrees with me at last!

I've long advocated the notion that Australia doesnt exist. It's just a conspiracy. Its so unlikely. A huge desert continent, miles away from anywhere else, where most of the animals can kill you? They have a rat with a beak that lays eggs and has a poisonous spike on its leg, a two legged six foot jumping beast which carries its young inside it even after birth? Add to that the fact that, despite being apparently 10,000 miles from Britain, the people who live there all have what is essentially a South East English Accent (Or an accent more similar to a South Eastern English Accent than a South western accent is for example.) and you arrive at the only logical conclusion - It's all a big lie.

Australia is an internationally perpetuated myth. the British Imperialist Government invented in the 19th Century to make the other European powers seem inferior. The wierd and dangerous animals were devised to stop the wealthy victorians wanting to visit the colony (Because it doesn't exist.) And they apparently sent all of their dangerous convicts there.

Owing to the South East English accents of those who cliam to be Australian, it is logical to conclude that the film set that is used today to represent Australia is on a small Island off the Coast of South Eastern England. Probably part of Essex. Maybe Canvey Island.
We do not know anything. We can just believe that which we feel no cause to doubt

It's so easy to make people angry round here. Chill.

Could you have been hallucinating? Animatronics maybe?

Are you sure you weren't on Canvey island?

I'd rather suck a duck than a duck billed platypus. Those poisonous spikes sound nasty! Ask a female one. Apparently the males use them when mating.

You have to admit it's a good conspiracy theory though don't you? And also admit how easy it is to make up a conspiracy theory....

I might go and create a 'No Australia' Society Webpage.

An interesting thought.

I googled 'australia doesn't exist' and it didn't take long to discover you were right!

http://angrybear.blogspot.com/2006/12/does-australia-exist.html

And sydney harbour bridge looks exactly the same as the Tyne Bridge in England....
Maybe there's enough interest in the non-existance of Australia for an official society. I might finetune my ideas and theories a little, write a little book and spend the rest of my life refusing to get on a Quantas flight.....

Someday I may be infamous.

Yes. That would be lovely. It would be nice to be at the centre of some big impenetrable dogmatic organisation.
It'd make me feel quite important.
