The Number of People in the Conspiracy

I would like to find out how many people the FE people belive to be in on the conspiracy and paid.
Here's my off the top of my head list:

1. People who fake the pictures/ Probaly working for NASA - ABout 100 I would say.
2. People who claim to have seen the curvature of the earth in that one English plane that could fly that high in the seventies- About 50
3. Guards of the ICE Wall- I heard 100
4. Mechanics for the patrol vehicles of the Ice Wall (assuming the guards no not how to fix things)- 10
5. The people who filmed March of the Penguins - 10ish
6. People secretly making stratellites - 50 ish
7. Most astronomers/these bastards claim stars are light years away/-1000
8. The people who claim to have done the cavendish experiment - I would say 40

The budget of NASA for the year 2007 - $16.8 Billion (2007)

If everyone got the same cut - $12,352,941.18 Wow, they are livin' high.

If I missed people, the cut they get will obviously be smaller.

The cut would have to be much smaller.

That 16.8B can't be distributed as pure profit. NASA employs thousands of people across 11 centers. They also pay contractors who work at those 11 centers (I happen to be one of them - O NOES IM A KONSPIRATOR!!!!1!). They conduct very real non-space related research that finds its way to the private sector (ever driven on a stretch of highway with those grooves in the pavement? That's the direct result of NASA research). They have to purchase materials and machinery for producing scale models etc. Also, those "fake" shuttle launches can't be cheap. You get the idea.

Please include in your list every person who buys a telescope with an acceptable equatorial mounting, past and present. That is at least ten million people. How many friends and family you add to your count is anyone's guess.

Anyone who makes careful measurements of the movement of stellar objects can immediately tell if the hovering sun and hovering planets theory holds any water.

I guess the CIA has a couple million agents checking on the use of telescopes all around the world.

What about all of the non-government operated companies involved in space related technologies?  Companies like Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Boeing, Raytheon, etc all have large space technology divisions.  Are the hundreds of thousands of scientists and engineers that work for these companies all part of the Conspiracy too?  I just had an interview with Lockheed Martin.  Maybe I can get one of those fat conspiracy checks too!

Seriously, though. Has any FE thought about the amount of people i the conspiracy. I doubt anyone is going to take 20,000 dollars a month and keep their mouth shut about the earth being flat. Hell, I wouldn't take less then ten million a year personally. 8)

Yeah, they have thought about it.  Theres a link to a thread about it in the FAQ, I'm too lazy to go find it.  They estimate MUCH fewer people need to know.

Thanks. The FAQ has been updated supposedly since I joined to forum. SO i probaly should go read on the latest hypothesis. I think Tom Bishop should write the FAQ though.

NASA does not have to deliberately employ dumb scientists. The scientists who do work for NASA simply operate under a pretense for a Round Earth.The smartest scientists on earth would not be able to recognize non-euclidean space without looking for it.

Ah, so it's an accident now, is it, Tom?

Add to the list those who have expeditions to "Antarctica".

Oh, and a few people in Discovery Channel and the like, they have features on Antarctica almost all the time.

Antarctic excursions are completely possible. In a non-euclidean FE model it would be possible to travel south and eventually end up where you started.

A simple mind would assume it's because the earth is curved. An innovative mind would realize that it is space-time itself that's curved.

Perhaps you haven't figured out the origin of the Ice Wall by now. I'll go ahead and spell it out for you.

The RE counterpart to the 150 foot Ice Wall described in the FAQ is called the Ross Ice Shelf. It is a wall of ice that surrounds Antarctica. It is several hundred meters thick. The nearly vertical ice front to the open sea is more than 50 meters high above the water surface. Ninety percent of the floating ice is below the water surface.

How do you know ther are 6 billion people on Earth? Have you seen all 6 billion of them. According to FE logic, you have to experience it for yourself, factual/proven evidence doesn't count. Those photos on google are photoshopped by the way, yeah those starving kids in China, they dont exist, its all a conspiracy to dump more money into NASA and their photoshoppers. Google is ran by an evil empire who puts up false photos of youngin's who appear to be starving, but are actually just tired. That picture you posted is not real by the way.

No, it's obviously much LOWER than that. See my previous post. And that was just stuff I could come up with off the top of my head at the time. Remember, NASA isn't completely about space exploration. They also do a lot of research in general aeronautics (a lot of which makes its way to the private sector; i.e. commercial airline industry) and on the atmosphere (allegedly using *gasp* satellites - DUN-DUN-DUNNNNN!!!!)

Anyway, I think a greater motive would be simply... pride. They wouldn't want to have to say publicly, "Hey everyone. We effed up. The world is really flat." Either way, the whole conspiracy thing is rather weak.

You know why they have leverage? They are keeping one of the biggest conspiracies ever secret. They could ask for as much as they want and get it or they could easily spill the beans.
