DO Asteroids Exist (in FE Hypothesis)?
« on: February 28, 2007, 05:59:27 AM »
I was just wondering this. SInce, what I can make from this site, everything is accelerating at 9.8 m/ s*s, and I imagine everything started accelerating at the same time, nothing is goning faster than anything else, or so I think. SO How can asteroids and comets exist, since they are flying all over the place and their tragectories(?) are based on gravity?

Do asteroids and comets exist in Flat Earth Hypothesis? :o
Imperious, choleric, irascible, extreme in everything, with a dissolute imagination the like of which has never been seen, atheistic to the point of fanaticism, there you have me in a nutshell.... Kill me again or take me as I am, for I shall not change.

If they don't, i'm sure they'll be claimed as NASA's doing.

Millions have.  That's why there's people out in the dark when they come around.

I mean one's that aren't easily faked. OH, a little flamming dot in the sky is passing by!

So, in an FE'ers state of mind, I suppose the question should be restated like this: "Have you ever been hit by a comet or asteroid?"

In that case.  No.

Tell that to the person who didn't have asteroid insurance on their car when it got hit by one.

its probably a good idea to note that things CAN move in the sky in FE model. the "upward" acceleration is exactly that. It doesnt mean nothing can move side to side, or even a little bit faster or slower.

If this was inspired by the recent news that a nice, big asteroid may hit earth soon(ish), Then really, well.. Whacks by asteroids is bad for whichever shape planet you live on.

LOL
dun worry, that person was reimbursed by the government, since that person obviously agreed to be part of the asteroid conspiracy.

Oh, and that news is conspiracy.

Id say so. Seasons are explained in the FE model, so the sun can move "side to side" along with being in an orbit, so yes, i'd say things can move side to side, etc, in an FE model.

As for the asteroid news, sure. it could be conspiracy. We'll find out in ~35 years whether it is or not.

There is physical and geological evidence of such, before any country was capable of that scale of destruction.

Fail.

Fail what?

... "Can asteroids exist in an FE model?", "Sure, why not?"

I'm not sure where you got the idea they dont exist from.

Half the people here say they do, half don't. I'm failing the half that thinks it's a conspiracy.

I really should quote, but I don't like simplemachines forums, and they don't like me, so...

Even if they did, pictures aren't an admissible form of evidence.

He's correct. Not all FE'ers are the same, just like all RE'er are not the same.

Exactly what it says, I guess. regardless of who's posting them, pictures are an inadmissible form of evidence.
the pictures part came from someone bringing up the fact that the pictures from Diego's now famous "my trip to the icewall" thread were most likely Googled. Google being brought up as a tool to find evidence of asteroid impacts on earth, and being rejected, because, Google is an evil empire.

So what your saying is EVERYONE needs to go see these craters for themselves in order for them to be real evidence?

apparently
but then if you did you would be a part of the conspiracy of course

Oooo, now I want to go see them so I can start getting some of this cash that NASA has so much of.

No. What I'm saying is thats what lead to the thread ending with Pictures are Inadmissible as evidence.

Which may, or may not make proving the existence of these craters difficult.
