War in the pacific
« on: February 26, 2007, 05:50:29 AM »
How did Japan and the US manage to fight each other in the 2nd World War if they're actually as far apart as it's possible to be on a flat earth?

I wasn't aware that they were that far apart.

They had these things called ships and planes that they used to transport their armies across the water... How do you think they managed?

Well, if the earth was flat, then they wouldn't be that close to each other, would they? One country would be on one edge, and the other country would be on the opposite edge, as far apart as it's possible to be.

Wouldn't all the ships and planes have noticed the end of the world if they flew past it, or sailed past it?

Look at the logo at the top of the website. The flat earth is represented as a disc, not a rectangular map - it's even mentioned in the FAQ.

According to that map the American navy would have to sail either around Africa or Northern Europe and Russia to reach Japan.

Northern Europe??? Where do you think Japan is?

I don't think the logo's supposed to be accurate, I pointed it out so that you would realise where you were going wrong.

America is on the left, Japan is the on the right. Clearly to attack each other one of them would have to sail right across the world. Past Africa and Europe, and indeed every land mass according to that map. It seems a bit of a trek to me

Are you looking at the same map as me? There's only 2 small bits of water they could've flown over down the centre of that map

For FE map isn't it like the world was torn open from the south pole? So Japan and America could still attack each other by just crossing the ocean.  Or am i wrong?

IF the sun was that small wouldn't it have just burnt itself out by now? Plus it wouldn't be powerful enough to heat up the Earth to this degree

Im pretty sure the ships floated on the water, and the planes flew in the air. Did you think it was the other way around? cuz that is SILLY!
