If the Earth is flat, and accelerating up at 1g, how do you explain the variations in gravity at different distances above or below sea level?
eg gravity is weaker at the top of mount everest

This effect can be explained by the Inverse Square Law, with the round earth theory

That's where you're wrong geoguy, gravity DOES vary with altitude. If you fing yourself falling into a black hole, you would experience a stronger pull on your feet than your head. thus, you get ripped apart. Stars near black holes expirience the same thing. If gravity did not weaken with range, EVERYTHING in the universe would be sucked into black holes, which would then be dragged into each other into a single point along with the VERY FABRIC OF SPACE AND TIME>

No I wouldn't, as "gravity" does not exist on Earth, and thusly cannot vary wilth altitude.
