I really want to see this in the cinemas but I'll probably get a side order of covid given how packed it'll be

On the other hand, I'll be buying this on 4K blu ray regardless so I guess I may as well just wait

Looks pretty good. Movies these days usually have way too much sex in them (they gotta pimp someone out to get the clicks) so I can't usually watch the whole movie.
But it's 1 of the only American movies (I think) that doesn't whore out people for views.

The Wire star Lance Reddick died Saturday, his reps confirmed to Variety. He was 60.

Reddick’s body was discovered at his home in Studio City, California, per TMZ, which was the first to report the news.

While his cause of death is unknown at this time, law enforcement sources told the outlet that it “appears to be natural”.

Reddick had been in the midst of a press tour for John Wick: Chapter 4, which is set to be released in theatres on March 23, when he died.

He also had an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show scheduled for next week to talk about reprising his role as Charon.

Just days before his death, Reddick posted a carousel of snaps of himself sitting on the couch with his four dogs — instead of attending the newest John Wick premiere in New York City.

“On screen and off, it’s no surprise I love spoiling my dogs,” he captioned the post on Wednesday. “@officialhardrock makes it easy with a full line of @johnwickmovie dog swag available at @hardrockhotels Unleashed locations, and a very special #NationalPuppyDay event at @hardrockhotelnyc to support @animalleague.”

He did not mention why he skipped the movie’s big premiere night.

Yeah, but the best one was The Wire.  Cedric Daniels don't die.

Also, fuck John Wick 4 at 3 hours.  Seems to totally miss the point of the first one - which was a reaction to increasingly bloated action films.  Boil the whole thing down to 95 minutes, with about 10 minutes of that plot.  Perfect.

Now it is all bloated itself.  Like a big ol' bloaty thing.  Still, I'll probably watch it at home over 2-3 nights.

I watch Chris Stuckmanns reviews on Youtube. He makes reference to the long run time but says it isn't bloated and is 'as long as it needs to be', just like the first one with its shorter run time was. Not trying to fit in a time frame but telling a story that just happened to utilise the run time it has

So if that's a story that goes for nearly 3 hours and doesn't have bloat and padded filler, I'm happy.
