questions about nasa

why nasa didn't send anybody again to moon ? and now they have more money more better  equipment and technology
why there is control space ship "robot" on mars and send photo to earth and yet no robot on the moon ?


i am not flater or global i am here only to ask these questions

It's a matter of priorities and resources.  Unmanned probes to the moon and Mars are a lot cheaper than manned missions, so until NASA is given the directive and resources for manned missions, unmanned probes are all they can afford to do.

It was all about politics and public perception.  We beat the Soviets to the moon and people got board watching the moon missions.

The video looks exactly the way a rocket launch on the moon should look.  Why shouldn't I believe it?

Since the 1972 manned landing, the Soviets had 3 unmanned landings, including a lunar sample return mission, and a lunar orbit mission.

The US has had 7 orbital or flyby missions.

The Chinese have had 3 unmanned landings, including a lunar sample returen mission, and 2 orbital missions.

One orbital mission each for Japan, Europe, and India brings the total number of unmanned missions to the moon AFTER Apollo 17 to nineteen.  I'm sorry that you aren't aware of them, or for whatever reason don't think they count, but they happened, and they pretty easily refute your claim that "NASA hasn't been back". 

The budget issues with manned lunar exploration have to do with politics.  When you were told people got bored, it didn't mean literally every person was bored.  It meant that the US Congress wasn't going to continue to authorize spending for manned lunar missions that wasn't going to win them political points with the majority of their constituency.  Yes, NASA has money, but their budget and all of their expenditures are overseen by the US Congress.  They can't just do whatever they want.

Yes, I believe that. Please list your reasons for thinking it might not be factual!

Who cares about the NASA budget. NASA doesn't have a monopoly on space

We know China has billions upon billions of dollars and a propaganda machine that needs to tell it's people they are better than anyone else in the world. We also know that they pay their people peanuts. So if it could be done, why aren't the Chinese bothering? The added cost is what? A life support system? We are talking about the moon. A week or 2 return at most. We have had people supposedly floating in orbit for nearly 2 years at a time. What would that cost?

We have plenty of volunteers putting their hand up for a 1 way trip to Mars on which the chances of getting their alive are razor thin and the chances of staying alive on Mars longer than a few minutes even thinner. Just get some patsy to go to the moon. I bet their are some people who wouldn't even care whether or not they would survive a return trip. The chance to go to the moon would get them more Facebook 'Likes' than they could ever imagine. Because THATS where todays priorities are!
