Oh, religion in general no matter Christianity or Islam is cancer on the Globe. But it's a bit off-topic here.

i answered this that way because the poster is a fanatic religious person who even threaten other people that have a different believe than he has.

Ohhhh, nasty! You shills must be getting desperate!!! :( Too bad so sad! I never threatened ANYONE with other beliefs, only those who are harming my fellow man while claiming they are doing so for the "greater good" Take global warming for an example! Quite the hoax! Just like 9/11! The people behind that kind of shit deserve punishment, so yes I will threaten them! :) Sue me! I'de love the publicity!

Increasingly, environmentalists and politicians have exploited the shoddy global warming hypothesis as a method to take away the rights of the people in a draconian manner, and to tax all of us exorbitantly.

Of course, there are many websites claiming that these scientists aren't scientists at all! In fact they are claiming the lawsuits they filed are hoaxes as well! Irony irony irony! This is why vigilante justice is the only answer, and why I am being slandered and smeared by every shill here!

You mean people like you that deny global warming, trying to stop man from doing anything about it, helping to make the planet a far worse place and harm so many?

Take global warming for an example! Quite the hoax! The people behind that kind of shit deserve punishment, so yes I will threaten them! :)
So you threaten and want to harm those trying to help. Good job showing you aren't just threatening those that harm your fellow man, and instead are threatening people that go against your beliefs.

Arealhumanbeing listens to that 'Natural News' crap which has put out a YouTube video encouraging that we should actually be increasing our CO2 emissions because that will make the planet better for everyone. The same loser that says vaccines cause autism and that there is a huge conspiracy with FDA and doctors to make sure we remain a sick population. Cures for cancer??? Lets push that aside and invent a super harsh 'treatment' for cancer instead. No money to be made in cures!! Oh yeah apparently no one needs glasses or optometrist eye care either because we can stare at the sun to fix everything.

We should actually feel sorry for people like Arealhumanbeing..... They are sad, impressionable, gullible victims.

And to think this zit faced punk in his mums basement jacking off to porn on the side because no girl will go near him actually thinks he's going to lead the next American revolution.... LOL ::)  What a grandiose delusional fantasy!!! Oh well. It gives us something to laugh about

Do you even know what a strawman argument is? Or did you just think it sounds cool and you look intelligent to pretend to know when to use it in context

Oh come, do I have to :P defend Arealhumanbeing?

Of course he "only wants attention like a little kid", that's what he claims to be!
Look at his profile:

Does either "Leader of the Second American Revolution" or "Age:15" sound like a mature (sane) adult?
;D Give the kid a fair go!  ;D

@arealhumantwat

I did not argue. My post was deliberately not on topic. It was merely a character assessment of you to get others on here a better understanding of why you are a know nothing know it all

So that's a no to understanding what a straw man fallacy is then.

Hi OP..   I answered your question (How high to see the curve...)  on June 19th (page 9 of this thread)  but you have continued to post about balloons and the government,  so  I'm  thinking you've possibly missed it.
Any  response to my answer?

Arealhumanbeing seems to have taken a "long vacation", maybe he's off leading the :P Second American Revolution ::) .

But here is a very direct to the question in the OP:
You do not have to be as high as 60,000 feet to see the curvature of the earth.  Although, at around 60,000 feet, it is very clearly curved.  I have seen pictures that were taken around 58,000 from the concord and there is no denying that the pictures show a curved horizon.  And these were taken by civilians who had nothing to gain by playing along with a conspiracy theory.  But, like I said, you do not have to be that high to see the curvature, but the higher you are, the more pronounced it is.
So clear concise an unequivocal a statement from our  :P local authority jroa  :P.

If it was true the, it must still be true.
