So this is a question for Flat-Earthers...... ::) obviously. What was childhood like for you? What I mean is that did astronomy teachers or just teachers from other subjects criticize you for your belief? Did your parents believe the same as you? Your spouse? Your children? Could one of you please answer this for me.

I think flat earthers buck the system on their own by their own.
Scripture, facts, science, stats, and logic is how I argue.

Everyone comes out of the closet sooner or later, do not be scared, do not worry about these things you are asking. You will be okay! Time for you to let it go and not worry about what they will think of your beliefs.
Good luck on your new journey, Tappet.

Most children believe the globe brainwashing forced on them, the same way I did. After maturing to an an adult, is where most FE believers can see clearly. The brainwashing can be shunned and rational thought take hold.

I don't think I had a problem with my past, like most people. I mean we all probably had in house problems and school problems as regards negotiating our way through it as best we could in terms of physically and mentally adjusting to everything.

However, the real problem is the amount of bullshit we had to absorb, not just by school teachers or law makers, but by the people we trusted most; our parents.

The issue runs deeper than them just being called out as liars. They weren't strictly lying for bad reasons for stuff they knew they were lying about. This was in keeping up a ruse to make small minds happy in most cases.
Stuff like santa claus and the tooth fairy, etc.
How clever is it to manage to keep this lie going for all this time whilst kids just believe it all amid all the slipped tongues. I suppose it comes from a strong unconditional belief and trust in your parents in those early brainwashing times.

It's easy to hold our parents accountable for the santa lies, except that we grew up and followed the trend.
So what about them telling us about the Earth being a ball and space rockets and men on the moon, etc, etc, etc.
Can we hold them accountable for misdirecting us?
The truth is, we can't  because they (in 99% of cases) believed what they were telling us because they didn't have the insight to find out what the entire reality was, because the few controlled the many minds...and the few were not about to give up the reality, but instead, they allowed it to become part of science and school time saturation coupled with parental snippets added to those lies.

I could go on  but I think most sensible people will get the story.
So in a nutshell; if we have a problem with our past, it is having to spend many years trying to wipe the hard drive of our brains from the absolute shite that was fed into it. Now we have to start again trying to find the real stuff to fill it, amid the many brainwashed people that are doing their level best to scupper that by weak minded peer pressure of bullying and name calling.

Only the strong minded will ever have a real chance of seeing the potential truth of the lies of bogus science.

Thanks for answering my question. Sometimes it's difficult to find real answers from Flat-Earthers on this website. Since topics seem to change subject more often than not.
