First ... you didnt answer my question ... do you believe that you know the meaning of God's word better than, yes literally, billions of other Christians all over the world and through centuries of time? Why is it only you (and maybe a handful that believe the earth is flat, too) feel the Holy Spirit? Has God abandoned all but a few?
I do not claim that. Those who are honest feel the Holy Spirit: this does not mean they will have thought to have asked about such details, nor does it mean they will be open about what they believe.
Second ... "Christians who were corrupted by scientists" ... you said you have no problem with science that do not contradict God's word, but I get the feeling you have a beef with all scientists. Are all scientists corrupted and/or possessed by demons?
No, but one is corrupted if they choose to follow the science of man over the word of God. Man is falliable, God is not. Science is not inherently wrong or flawed, but it can be.
Third ... "lie of evolution" ... you obviously have a very literal interpretation of the bible ... do you believe in the following too? Are those all God's words too?
Yes.
On slavery, there is the usual note of Mosaic Law to make. Civilization was primitive, and incomplete. Slaves were necessary: it was a time of war, also, if you read the Bible. Harshness was necessary. This is the Old Testament: survival at any cost. In the New, Christ came to Atone and to make life easier, so that we did not need to be punished in life. However, for those that were still slaves, he still offered them advice: obey, so that you would not be beaten. This is actually true of much of God's advice. The site is very slow at the moment, but in the Religion subforum, thread 'Learn about God', I wrote quite a bit on war, peace and God in response to Healthy Earth: you may find many similar examples there. When Christ said to love your enemies, for example, he explained the motive as being so they would not have legal grounds by which to punish you.
When a woman has a discharge, if her discharge in her body is blood, she shall continue in her menstrual impurity for seven days; and whoever touches her shall be unclean until evening. Everything also on which she lies during her menstrual impurity shall be unclean, and everything on which she sits shall be unclean. Leviticus 15: 19-20
This is referring to demon possession, not menstruation. What is released during periods is not really blood, as anyone familiar with biology would know. It was a misinterpretation of passages such as these which made the term 'menstrual' begin to apply. Bleeding as a result of a demon is clearly impurity.
Thou shalt not boil a kid in its mother’s milk. Exodus 23:19
Do you normally boil goats? Why is this controversial?
She lusted after her lovers, whose genitals were like those of donkeys and whose emission was like that of horses. Ezekiel 23:20
This is not a command, it is a description of lust. Sin is vile.
