Spotlight Sun? WHY?!?

i always believed the earth was round until i looked at the facts as well as the theory and i've learned that the truth is unbelievable, the flat earth is a fact of life and i can't believe it.  the earth plays a very convincing globe and to all intents and purposes its a globe but,i don't know how it works, it makes no sense and you'd have to be crazy to believe the earth is flat but its a fact, its flat and no theory can ever change that, its a headfuck for me too but its the truth.

Here's something to think about. If you shine a torch light at the sky, you know, like the batman signal. Is it a globe or is it flat or does it just appear like it's either one when in fact it's simply a hologram or reflection. What do you think?

thats not because there is any magic involved.. its the dust and the gas in the air reflecting the light which causes it to look like a beam... try this: go into a dark dusty room and turn the flashlight on.. you will see dust shining everywhere because its reflecting light.

You asked why the sun is a spotlight. I've just told you. If you think it's a big ball of nuclear fusion at 93 million miles away in space and over 850,000 miles in diameter, then you go right ahead.
Don't expect me to share in that. I'd sooner believe it was a glowing dog turd on a string than believe that absolute crap about what we're told.

The question is maybe a little more than just  "why". The question is  also "what" is the spotlight and "what" does it look like and "how" does it work. Please answer the question.
If you won't post your description I am sure there are lots of others that could post the flat earth explanation of the "spotlight sun" even if you or any other flat earther is  not going to do so.

It matters not whether the sun is a disc or a sphere in these diagrams; it is a simple matter of optics.

& they do not make sense in the current model as we are told.

Of  course it makes sense.. I can use a simple 3d rendering program to show you..
I create a 100cm big light-source and 100cm away i create a 10cm  object... It works totally fine.
The "moon" covers the sunlight completly if i get into the earth view...

I mean i can do that with unity 3d.. a simple game making tool..
