People see two light sources or suns in the sky all the time.  The phenomenon is known as a "sun dog" or "Tatooine Sunset."  It's really just light reflected off the ice wall.

Nope. Look at my picture again. With caustic lighting, if you face the Sun, you would have many suns shining from behind you as well.

So you've been told.

Yes, of course as I've been "told".  Is there a problem with this?  Don't you accept anything you've been told by experts in their fields?

Thousands of scientists have written identical explanations for the sun dogs phenomena over the past several centuries.  Are you saying they're all wrong?

And as you're claiming they're caused by "reflection"—rather than by refraction—can you please cite a reference to support this claim?  One will be fine.
