Hello, people of the flat earth. I am doing a small speech about the flat earth, and for it, I would like just a couple statistics.

1. How many members of the flat earth society are there?
2. Roughly how many people world-wide believe in a flat earth? (I realize you can't get an exact number, so please try to estimate.)

?

1. It depends on what you define as a member.
There are 423 official members.

However I am not on that list for example but consider myself a member of the flat earth community. The list is also not very well updated. It hasn't been touched at all for 6 months. I think those numbers are on the low side.

there are over 7500 membership accounts on this site.

However that includes spambot accounts. Whisslt the list is purged regularly, I suspect that's probably on the high side of people who have come here to debate flat earth theory.

2. I have no idea. There are many religious groups that would not identify with us (a secular flat earth society), but of course they believe in a flat earth. I suspect the number may be in millions but that's not a huge slice considering 7 billion people on earth.
