This is a basic query, so I'm moving this to Questions & Clarification. Please try and post threads in the correct place.

Please try to at least answer the question.

Please try not to act like such an entitled brat. Nobody here is obligated to answer questions.

Please try to show respect. I thought you were a mod. He asked a question and all the FE'ers have done is avoid his question. The FET goes against regular accepted science. Therefore if you want people to follow it you must prove that it is right. If someone asks a question about it you are should answer it, if you can.

I thought you were a mod.

Mods are (supposed to) keep the peace and enforce the rules.  Nowhere does it say that mods are obligated to answer questions pertaining to the topic at hand.

The FAQ doesn't explain the seasons. It just says that the sun's orbital radius gets bigger in the northern winter.  It doesn't say why it gets bigger in the winter.

Yes, and in that case the earth would be in a non linear cycle of orbit of the sun... therefore we would be sucked in.

Exactly. A mod shouldn't call someone an entitled brat for asking a question about their alternative science theory.

He didn't.  LordWilmore called Areweonfiya an entitled brat when he asked for an answer after Wilmore clearly stated that all he was doing was moving the thread to the appropriate subforum.

And this makes him an entitled brat? Those two things aren't even related. Areweonfiya's statement suggested that the FE'ers weren't answering his question. Then Willy called him a brat.

Well, It gets bigger in the northern winter, that means it gets the southern 'hemisphere' (meaning the outer part of the planet) with more light. It gets smaller in the northern summer meaning the southern/outer hemisphere gets less light, producing winter. That's not even difficult to figure out.

What was the purpose of this post? You pointed out something that wasn't difficult to figure out, and then left it at that.

Areweonfiya's post suggested that I was somehow obliged to answer the question, which I'm not. The OP did not post his question in the correct place, and as there are rules about this sort of thing, I was drawing his attention to the fact (having moved the thread for him). I may be a moderator, but if people behave like brats I will treat them like brats. His post was childish and completely uncalled for.

To be fair, Areweonfiya did say please when he asked you to answer the OP's question so he really wasn't rude.  To me he sounded more frustrated than bratty.

This is all very subjective, but I think he said 'please try' because I said 'please try' in the post he was responding to. In other words, it was insult through imitation. I could be wrong though.

Well, I suppose that I might be a little more likely to some people the benefit of the doubt.  :-\

I agree but I wish you wouldn't use the word "childish" to describe something negative. I have relatives who are kids and they are very nice people.
