I'm just curious..
« on: September 05, 2009, 11:01:46 AM »
Since millions of people have seen space shuttles and other rockets launch, where do they end up after the launch? You'd think with all the rockets that we've sent into the sky, there would be garbage everywhere and it would be easy enough to come across. Not to mention how are we able to recover a space shuttle after a mission if it wasn't in space the whole time? How could NASA simulate a reentry that's visible to millions of people and then make a shuttle magically appear in the sky over Edwards/KSC flying over the speed of sound, eventually landing?

Also, what would explain a normal person's ability to see satellites moving in the sky around sunrise/sunset if they're not actually there?

Personally, I think the shuttle launches and then lands in Diego Garcia.  Some think Lajes, either way there are plenty of island runways to land at after going out of sight.  As for reentry its carried up to a high altitude on a 747 and dropped off to coast down to landing, ever noticed the chase planes that follow it in?  All capable of breaking the sound barrier to produce the illusion that the shuttle does it during landing.

You've still got the problem of where the external tanks end up, and all the other rockets that NASA sends into the air. Also, the reentry flame that many people can see over Mexico and the southern US on morning reentries.

Also, the satellites you can see from the ground during sunrise/sunset.

The shuttle drops the tank just prior to its landing and it is recovered.  Similar to the SRBs.  Not hard really.    The reentry flames could be a multitude of things.  Not hard to explain.  Flares, long range missles.  As for those supposed satellites, there are many theories on that as well.  First off all you see is a white dot moving across the sky.  Hardly proof of anything.  Search stratellite, on here for more info.

Ok, one more thing: how are any of your guys' theories easier to believe than what NASA or anyone else says is true?

Off topic, but because we have solid evidence.

Versus....what does everyone else have? FET has assumptions, not solid evidence.

No.  FET has deliberate misinterpretation of evidence and misconceptions of scientific principles.  There's a difference.
Science is what happens when preconception meets verification.

Besides, perhaps FET is a conspiracy too.

Get a decent pair of binoculars and check the ISS site for the next time it will be over you area.  Steady your hand and track the ISS you will see the distinct outline of the shape, especially now that it has all of it's solar arrays installed.  I've also spied the shape of the shuttle as it was chasing to catch up to ISS.....you all have failed multiple times to explain that one.
