I prefer to be somewhat of an agnostic on this matter. Conspiracies on the part of the government presuppose some level of competence after all.

However, can anyone explain why Neil Armstrong refuses to appear in public? He may very well be disgusted with his moon landing acting performance somewhere near Hollywood. Or perhaps he and those surrounding him are afraid that some of the truth may accidentally come out if he is allowed to speak freely.

Or there could be any number of reasons! Maybe he was just extremely shaken by the fact that he was the first human being ever to set foot on the moon. That's something that would leave a profound mark on anyone.

Also, no-one else who has been on the moon is shying away from the public, so the latter part of your "argument" just doesn't hold water.

You're making a wild hypothesis based on no evidence whatever, in a situation where any number of hypotheses might be made, and trying to make it stick as fact. Doesn't work.

Also, since you've been online, I'd appreciate replies to my thread entitled '2 Questions to Flat-Earthers', or something like that. :)

Anything is possible. But I doubt that they are able to cover up the shape of the earth..

THe best donkey, IMO, is the one trying to pick up the chick donkey without being a 'burden'

Heh.

Anyway, I have a hard time believing that a government who can't keep 18 minutes of tape, the infamous blue dress, or chapaquidic(sp) secret could POSSIBLY maintain a conspiracy of this magnitude. I've had satellite tv... and I don't think I'm part of the conspiracy.

Um, may I ask why "conspiracies are never real" is not an option? :)
