No. Dark matter has been observed.

Evidence please.

Which word do you struggle with, Evidence or please?
My I.Q. is 85. Or was it 58?

Neither. The evidence is there to see.

I've discussed this before.

Use search. munkirench + dark matter should be fine.

So in other words, Bendy Light is an invented solution which uses an undiscovered phenomenon to explain away a huge discrepancy?
Much like dark energy and dark matter invented by round Earthers to explain the unexplainable.

well shut my mouth, u almost made a point
but its hardly fair to compare dark matter and dark energy, concepts that arguably the best minds on the planet ponder daily, with an explanation for "bendy light" that was thought up by a handfull of people who choose to believe the world is flat..
its like comparin a blow job from the best prossy in wales to rammin a nuns piss hole with a sledgehammer..

that said, lets just assume for a second magical dark energies cause light to bend upwards..
in FET the sun rotates around in a circle with the north pole as its center, right?.. in the summer when the sun is orbitin the equator, if ur on the equator its all fine, the sun rises in the east and sets in the west.. but if ur not on the equator, lets say north europe, then the suns gonna rise in the south east and set in the south west...
next ull be sayin magical dark energies dont just bend light up, but north as well..  ::)

Somewhat out of context, here's one of my responses to the dark matter discussion:

Quote
Of course, there is no direct evidence of dark matter.  That is, it is, by definition, impossible to observe directly.  However, many "anomalies" are resolved by hypothesizing the existence of additional mass.  It seems pretty simple to me.  It's not just "well, i suppose the equations would work if we add mass."  It's that many aspects of observation in cosmology are directly explained by stipulating that additional mass does exist.

My point is, the theorization of dark matter is absolutely not arbitrary.  There are many good reasons to believe that dark matter exists.  So saying that our understanding of the laws of physics is flawed is just misleading.  You say that just because it is very facilitative to hypothesize dark matter, we must totally revise the known laws, and I absolutely disagree.  It makes much more sense to revise our understanding of the makeup of the universe (which is based on very difficult measurements and observations) than to revise our understanding of the fundamental laws (which are based on empirical observation of experiments).

Of course, the one big assumption we must make is that the laws of physics are consistent throughout the universe, but it is an assumption that is necessary in order to attempt to draw any conclusions at all.
When I look out my window, I see exactly what RET predicts.
