DARPA planing new statellite tech...

DARPA is planning to launch new modular satellites that will be able to be updated and changed while in space. This will allow them to change systems rather than replace equipment. I know this is a government entity but they will use private industry to make this happen. Any words or thoughts on this.

I met a government contractor.  He was not in a conspiracy.

Government Contractors are given secret clearance, sign many contractual and NDA agreements, and then build whatever component the Government tells them to build.

It is just that this specific conspiracy is just so complex and people intensive I can't believe that there have been no squeelers.

Tom, the problem with you conspiracy idea is that you have no set time that it came into power, and no reason for it to have existed pre-NASA.  Folks have believed in a round Earth for way longer than NASA existed.  Care to explain whether their was a conspiracy then?

If someone somewhere did come out and claim that the earth was flat, would to expect to hear about it on the nightly news?

Before the age of the Space Race mankind was simply mistaken.

And then after the space race?  As near as I can tell, FET still maintains that sustained space flight is impossible.  If this were true, then that would mean there is no surefire way to know the shape of the Earth, in which case the conspiracy doesn't exist to cover up the fact that the Earth is flat, but just to cover up the failures of the space program.

Sorry Tom, but even if you could prove all sustained space travel is a conspiracy, I don't see how it backs up that the Earth is flat.
