And I have to say that I'm part of the conspiracy that keeps the public believing in a RE.
I'm a 747 Captain, and have all the secret details of how we get around the FE in a large jet.

So you know that wind passes around the wings generating lift and the jets help maintain speed to keep the wings generating lift and such? Neat! Not impressive by any means but at least you know how planes fly.
