Fundamentalist:
A person who takes their religion so literally and to such extremes that they contradict the very basis of their faith. They typically believe in a literal, verbatim interpretation of their scripture. They also have ridiculous, childish defenses to intelligent criticism of their beliefs that border on insanity. The level of hypocrisy and stupidity most of these people exhibit is truly profound.
Moderate:
In religion, a moderate is an individual who holds an intermediate position between two extreme or radical viewpoints.
A fundamentalist moderate is someone who holds moderate religious beliefs, but tries to defend them by being a fraking retard, much like fundamentalists.
Examples of Fundamentalist Moderatism:I don't believe in the idea of God" is a refrain as old as Adam, and has been refuted countless times by God's own revelation.

I keep going back to this hoping to get SOME response. 
Perhaps the problem is the avenue, that is, causal thinking. It's too limited to comprehend reality. Just as logic is. Let it go. It only answers some quesitons.
This guy would not be an idgit, except that he is arguing that logic isn't a good method of problem solving. He is more like a "moderately fundamentalist moderate."
