Having not received a single counter reply from any FES member to my question about the 'Australia paradoxon', I must assume that the FE community has no explanation for the shape and size mismatch on their FE map. 1:0 for my argumentation against its validity, thank you!
My next question to you FES people is about magnetic field theory:
Nobody can doubt that our Earth has a magnetic field. And that magnetic compass needles work, without problems (the imminent upcoming pole switch and some declination effects left aside).
Now magnets are DIPOLES, as magnetic monopoles do NOT exist in our universe. Do not even think of trying to challenge Faraday, Maxwell or Einstein!!
The magnetic North pole on our globe is in the close vicinity of the geographical North pole.
In your FE map view it is right at the center of your alleged FE disk. So far, so good.
The magnetic South pole on our globe is close to the geographic south pole, actually quite a bit off these days at 107.38E, 80.31S. Even YOU can travel to this spot, it lies OUTSIDE of your magic forbidden zone. You can freely reach that spot today, unharmed by border guards and military defense systems preventing you from falling off the icy edge of your FE disk! Go there, have a look around, take your compass with you and see how it points DOWNWARD, along the magnetic field lines.
The magnetic field lines of our planet roughly follow the meridian (N/S) grids, some declination effects left aside. Your compass will always point south following any of these longitudes. And regardless of where you start from, be it Tokyo, New City, Canberra.., you ALL will eventually meet at ONE common southern most point, the magnetic south pole of our Earth. Isn't that neat?
And it really does work, you can NOT deny or question this; oldfashioned compass needles and modern smartphone sensors will both agree! One common southernmost spot on this planet, geographically and magnetically - God is good to us!
Now where exactly is the magnetic SOUTH pole on your alleged flat Earth disk? Can you create a field line pattern that shows the shape and direction of magnetic field lines leading from the magnetic North to the South pole?
Remember to follow the unchallengable rules of magnetism: field lines must be closed (connecting S and N).
And they need to match the directions of the compass needles, at ANY spot on our Earth!
And they need to follow the longitudinal grid lines on 'our' and on 'your' map as outlined above, so people can meet from anywhere if 'going south' along these.
Hint: on a solid magnetic disk (not a doughnut torus, no holes at our north pole!) both the N and S poles are along the center axle (top and bottom). The magnetic field lines start in the center, diverge to the outer rim, circle around the border of the disk and meet on the bottom side in the center again.
If you decide on that (legitimate) pattern on your FE map, then people from Tokyo and New York will never meet, but end up ca. 60,000km apart, somewhere along the outer icy rim of your disk!
Good luck, I am looking forward to seeing this magnetic topology of the FE map.
As usual I request that only FE believers and FE scientists may reply, to keep flame wars, trolls etc out of the game.
I want to read clean, scientifically valid replies only - thank you very much!
Ah: bonus points go to those FE folks that can develop a solid, realistic theory on how the flat, non-rotating Earth disk can generate a magnetic field. That also switches polarity every couple of hundred thousand years! Which forces could possibly apply, if there is no rotary "dynamo" momentum available at all?
The magnetic field generation of our "spherical Earth" is well understood these days, and geographic evidence for pole switching do exist at various placed on our globe. No fake news!
