In 2013 we got attacked a lot. I assume that was the case here. It magically stopped during that year too.

Having looked into it I was reminded that is was very close to when Thork requested his account be deleted, reported me to the FBI watch list, and attempted to enlist help to hack my websites.

Clearly we had a lot going on that month. Probably was some third party.

Flat Earth Society had recently made the news in the Scotsman. Scottish Government's plan could lead to members of the Flat Earth Society officiating at weddings

Zeitgeist on the boards: Chris Hadfield was on the ISS at the time prompting lots of discussion. Macklemore's One Love was climbing the charts and flat-earthers were debating gay marriage.

This video, published in December 2012, was gaining publicity in early 2013 and possibly indirectly leading more and more people to this site.
