Hi everyone this theory is amazing but one question.
« on: September 20, 2015, 05:08:07 AM »
I have spent the past month reading and watching everything I can on flat earth and it blows my mind so many questions I've had since childhood are explained by this theory. I can't seem to wrap my head around one thing though when everyone talks about proving the earth flat they always think go over the ice which I can admit would be awesome flat or not but why do you even have to do that? All you have to do to prove the earth is flat is circumnavigate Antarctica and it your traveling with the land to your right and your making left turns then you are indeed traveling on the inside of a circle and we are ringed by ice. But if the land is to your right and your making right turns than your on the outside of a circle and Antarctica is an island.

This seems like it would be simple and I'm not talking about hugging the coast so you would have to keep turning either direction to deal with changes in the coast line. But keeping you distance so you could generally travel in one constant direction. I figure if the ice is a circle around us then with land to your right Antarctica would curve to the left in front of you the entire way but if not it would curve away from you the entire way and I've been on boats since I was a child its very easy to tell which way your moving by just the environment around you not even with a compass or GPS.

Nobody will seem to answer my question anywhere I post it everyone just wants to argue with people being inflammatory. I came across this theory years ago and asked this question to many videos and never received a response and have since revisited the topic and now I'm becoming a believer too many things don't add up. At first I didn't even want to look at it I thought it was craziness which is why it took me so long to come back to but this question still bothers me it would be so easy to prove like this. Anyway thanks for having me can't wait to hear your input.

Yes, one can easily prove to themselves our Earth is indeed flat by following the rim of ice. Assuming you had a capable vessel the only trouble you might have is running into stationed military officers who might question or obstruct your trip. Almost all major countries have a base somewhere on the continent and most areas are highly restricted.

This has been discussed many times. It is relatively expensive but you can take tours of Antarctica. I can't tell you about factsabout Antarctica on this website on any place but the debate section, but you can find the information on the so-called "ice ring" on the debate section if it will be of any help. LOL. There even seems to be disagreement amongst flat earthers whether it's guards from the U.N. or N.A.S.A. ::)
Stick close , very close , to your P.C.and never go to sea
And you all may be Rulers of The Flat Earth Society

Look out your window , see what you shall see
And you all may be Rulers of The Flat Earth Society

Chorus:
Yes ! Never, never, never,  ever go to sea !

Yeah I assumed it had been talked about but when I searched for it things like circumnavigate and Antarctica are extremely popular terms and I just keeping reading page after page of unrelated stuff. I saw one thread that someone was probably talking about what I was wondering but he was shut down immediately by unrelated rebuttles. Just seems to me guards or not you will still be able to tell if your going left or right as long as the shore was in view even from binoculars and you wouldn't actually have to go around the entire circumference just see which way it curves if it curve in front of you path were in a ring curves away your outside a ring. Thanks I guess I'm gonna go pick through the debate section a little more.
