Axis Mundi literally means Worlds Axis.

The Earth does not spin around this "axis" and neither does the universe.
So it can not be an axis

The heavens do spin around that axis, as does the sun.

I'm getting mighty tired of you picking fault with everything I write and offering absolutely no alternative explanation.

The same picture can be taken in the south. I have seen good evidence before here though that supports the north as the middle of the earth. I guess the fact that its been explored more and the distances in the north are better known. It would be a lot harder to argue that the distances in the north were wrong! Given that the distances in the north are correct it right to assume that the south is the rim.

Look at the UN logo flag. Do you think they just came up with this based on nothing? The UN logo was based on Admiral Byrd's expeditions to Antarctica. We know that if you go across Arctic ocean you will end up in Russia, this is a well known geographical fact. However Antarctica is a made up continent, its an ice wall that surrounds the known world, no one has ever crossed it, beyond Antarctica the earth continues on forever, God only knows how many continents are out there just beyond the ice wall. It is also possible that there is no ice wall and that Antarctica is a solid frozen landmass encircling the known earth.

Umm...  You do realize that Antarctica doesn't appear on the UN logo, don't you?

Yes Antarctica does not appear on UN logo because its either not a real continent or its a gateway to other parts of infinite earth, when Byrd flew passed the so called south pole, he discovered warm tropical land, this is when it was realized that earth is not a globe and that Antarctica is something totally different then what was previously believed.

Yes, the northern stars do revolve around the north pole.
But the southern stars do not.

So, the North pole can not be the Axis Mundi.

So are distances between towns etc accurate and trust worthy in the northern hemisphere but not in the south?
I'd like to agree with you but then we'd both be wrong!
