I'm new here obviously, and I may or may not stay long depending on whatever. Since I've noticed you get a fair amount of bullshit around here I'll try not to contribute. I've already read the FAQ but I'm still confused on a few things.
First off, what causes light to bend, and how. From what I gather it bends away from the earth in a perfect curve, but does that curve continue after it reflects off the earth? and if the sun moves the way you describe, why is there no measureable red or blue shift?
I'm not sure how many of you believe this next one, since it seems rather easily dissected. According to the FAQ heavenly bodies have a gravitational pull but the earth does not. Also, sustained space flight should not be possible but the heavenly bodies are somehow capable of it.
