SpaceX launch fails a third time
« on: August 04, 2008, 06:18:00 AM »
Following SpaceX's third consecutive failure to launch (see http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/7539780.stm) can any FE believers here confirm or deny their involvement in sabotaging the flight for fear that it will add new evidence to the RE lobby?

More likely "could any SpaceX employee confirm that the effort is a giant fraud perpetuating false 'truths'?"

Looks like they finally made it.

SpaceX wrote history today as the first private financed company to achieve orbit with a rocket. As Elon Musk stated “this really means a lot”, it can be the beginning of significantly lower launch costs and therefore increased number of launches. After three unsuccessful flights, “fourth time’s a charm” Musk said.

Besides, perhaps FET is a conspiracy too.

Yeah there's a video of the launch on the SpaceX site. Good to see they finally made it to orbit.

What island did they launch from?  Also from the FE point of view, unmanned means no witnesses.

Yup, the spotlight of the sun on the flat surface of earth.

I thought it looked familiar.  Been there done that.  Wake Island is much cooler to hang out at.
