Some stuff I don't know because it's a laptop I bought from Dell and so I don't know the specifics of some of the hardware. Sometime when I have enough money I'd like to buy a new desktop computer, and preferably learn how to build one myself in the process.

Operating System: Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron Desktop Edition
Kernel: Linux 2.6.24-19-generic
Desktop environment: GNOME 2.22.3
CPU: Intel T7400 Dual Core
RAM: 2.0 GiB
Hard Drive: 160 GB, not sure of the specific make or whatever
Headphones: Roland RH-200 Monitor Headphones
Speakers: Logitech Z-2300
Mouse: Logitech optical mouse
Mouse Pad: One depicting the London Underground I got ages ago when I lived in England, I really need a new one because this one is awful

Browser: Mozilla Firefox 3
Music: Wine + foobar2000
Music recording: Audacity 1.3.4-beta / Ardour (never used due to problems with JACK)
IRC Client: Pidgin
Messenger: Pidgin
Graphics: GIMP
Coding: gedit 2.22.3 / Code::Blocks IDE 8.02 / Python 2.5.2 w/ IDLE 1.2.2
Productivity: Sun OpenOffice.org
Burn Software: Brasero Disc Burning
BitTorrent Client: Transmission
FTP Client: FileZilla

Perhaps I shall give it a try sometime. Probably when I don't have a 10 GiB partition for Ubuntu, with the rest going to Vista.

I'm aware of that, as I have it set up to do so. I was wondering more specifically about what his GTalk address was.
