Sound Waves
« on: January 14, 2008, 12:01:19 PM »
Einstein proved that velocity does not add to sound waves ( a whistle blown on the top of a moving train only moves the speed of sound, not the speed of sound plus the speed of the train) This creates some problems with the UA model. How can sound waves move upward when the earth is moving at speeds close to that of the speed of life. Any waves would instantly be hit by the earth.

The medium is moving too.  What happens when you blow the whistle inside the train?
