Okay, instead of flying in the "same direction" so to speak, what would happen if you picked a star in the sky, and flew towards it but remaining the same distance from the ground? where would you end up then?

Maybe I dont understand your question. But... how can you 'fly' and stay at the same distance from the ground? ...you wouldn't go anywhere.

basically what i ment was not flying directly to the star, but parallel to the ground. but continuously moving towards the star.

If you're going north you'd hit the north pole.

and kept on going from there. Pick the farthest away star and fly towards it while keeping a constant distance from the ground. following that star, where would you end up if you kept going towards it?

Actually, if the deliberate Conspiracy were found out by the public, that's exactly what they'd do.

Why would they lie about it in the first place? What would they gain by lying instead of telling the truth from the beginning, it wouldn't effect how much money went into research, the earth would simply be known as flat instead of round. which would probably bring in even more money if they said it was flat, because of the uniqueness of our planet compared to others, since mars, venus, etc. are all round planets.

Its not like they got a satellite up there and were like "Well fuck, we were wrong. Lets make a conspiracy instead of telling the truth."

I love how half a degree every 200 miles is somehow supposed to sound like a small amount!

It is.  Pilots have been known to crash into mountains because they thought they were flying level when they were banked at 45-60 degrees.  It's called spacial disorientation.

I guess the pilots couldn't see a big mass of elevated land that was right dead in front of them fast enough to pull up and avoid a crash. are they REALLY that stupid?

Mountains are hard to see at night or in adverse weather conditions.

true true, but dont people that fly at night use some kind of night vision system? it would make sense if they did, especially if they were in that kind of place and that low to the ground.

I really don't see how the FE'ers can say that everything is fake/distorted. Not every lense makes things only farther away than a mile appear distorted. My camera doesn't. Convenient how every camera is defective don't you think?

Anyone care to post pictures taken at above 40,000 feet showing a flat horizon without the line showing that it is flat. The line can make the horizon appear flat by making the curve invisible behind the thicker-than-it-needs-to-be-line

Okay, so if the sun is over the "center" of the earth in the FE, then why is it the further north you go, the colder it gets? According to the little map the Mr. Bishop gave us, the North Pole in the RE Model would be in the center of the FE model, geographically speaking. So if the Sun is the Center as Engineer put it, then why is it the further north you go, the colder it gets? Last time I checked, Alaska is a lot colder than Texas.

so, in other words, you all are saying you have never looked at the sky on a clear night for a few hours? or taken your own photos of the sky by the hour? how is this fake? please do explain how the sky could be photoshopped.

here is something to try:

- Take a camera, any camera as long as it can be put on a tripod
- take a photo ever hour or half hour, doesnt matter
- and look at them all in sequential order.

that is essentially the same as what the topic author posted, just in a video form.

now again, how is this fake?

The massive humongous ~$16 billion a year that NASA gets from the government.  $16 billion a year really isn't that much when it comes to the national government, but you know, whatever makes the conspiracy work.

So if the government told us the truth from the beginning, would that really make a difference on how much study/money they do/get? I dont think it would, nor is there reason to believe it would.
