Flat Earth Q&A / Re: What do Flat Earthers believe the sun to be?
« on: August 27, 2015, 01:17:10 PM »
I believe the sun is made out of almost pure phlogiston.  This is the same substance you see when you burn wood, for example.

Phlogiston, lol. Are you from the 1800's?

The most probable explanations  for exstinction of the dinosaurs . Is eather a highly contagious deadly virus  or  a chain of volcanic eruptions , spewing deadly gases & sun light blocking  ash in to the atmosphere for a decade or two. Meteors seem to me,  to be a less likely cause.

Explain please.

Your shtick is getting a little old. You should add in aliens or something and freshen it up a little.

Which dictionary are you misquoting?

Dictionary.com:-
Informal.
unknown, unidentified, or out of place:
A couple of random guys showed up at the party.

lol, informally tween talk.  I did not realize we were texting each other.

Nope, sorry. Just the informal use of the word which has a high enough usage to warrant an entry in the dictionary. Mikeman used it over in U.S. and it is often used in the same context here in the UK.

u r my bff

Do you understand the argument that this thread is making? Do you understand what's happening? Does someone need to take you home?

By the way gramps, your attempt at "tween talk" is about 10 years out of date.

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: quick question???
« on: August 23, 2015, 07:51:45 PM »
I know from science that the earth has been destroyed 3 times now or "reset" ( meteor, flood, ice age) or was that a myth too?

The earth has never been destroyed and reset. The meteor that killed the dinos was only a few miles across, and plenty of other meteorites have fallen in earths history. None of them have destroyed the earth. Many ice ages have happened, none of them have destroyed the earth (and I don't understand how they could) and Noah's flood never happened.

just like in the anime... and he was taking things out of the anime simple plot concepts and you could not identifys them...

I didn't even know that such an anime existed until you told me.  I am not omniscient.

exactly... you dont do basic research which is a must for any truth seeker...

You needed to do research to figure out that he wasn't a time traveler?

Again, no one has any idea what the fuck you're talking about

I love it when people expect others to understand words and concepts that they made up.

Ruddyman- no one has any fucking idea what a Rhea Zues Monkey is. You're like a B movie that introduces characters without any background or context and then expects us to follow along.

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: HOW DO ALIEN UFO'S FIT INTO A FLAT EARTH
« on: August 20, 2015, 05:40:07 AM »
So far as I've determined, the flat earth was believed far longer than we have been told of the ball earth.

For the majority of history, people also believed that massacring the neighboring tribe was ok. Just cus something was believed for a while doesn't make it correct.

I look at some of their accomplishments, that we today cannot even duplicate.

Example?

Most flat earthers indicate that you aren't a free thinker unless you beleive in flat earth. You have to subscribe to the flat earth dogma to be considered a free thinker. Its hypocritical.

But what if scepti's a NASA sleeper agent who's mission is to work his way up to mod status so he can reek havoc?

At least, I've over heard my supervisors say things to that extent.

Tell me you did not just take a picture of the inside of a printer and post it as a time machine!!

LMAO

This is why I come to FES
Also the only place where you thought people would be gullible to believe you

edit: 10 minutes on and a quick search has determained that his time machine is an Epson printer R2xx range. looking for the exact model because im bored and easily distracted.

Flat Earth Debate / Re: trying to understand..

And yet everyone seems so sold on it.

Don't worry, there's only a few dozen of them, they are just extremely vocal. Bottom line is that there are very few flat-earthers, but they do a good job of shouting loudly and frequently.

It worries me that we have lost so much trust in the powers that govern us (and completely, rightfully so) that we are willing to abandon all critical thought.

Yes, it's a growing problem. According to one study, a third of republicans think that Jade Helm is a secretly Obama invading Texas.

Could this not be settled today, one way or the other, with a boat or a plane? From my understanding, traveling between continents in what most people refer to as the southern hemisphere would be radically different on a flat earth. Can we not just take people from both sides, get a plane, and measure how far apart things are? I'm sure I'm not the first to bring this up, and again, I'm sorry for not having the time to read through everything on here. But this has been eating away at me.

You probably could, but flat earthers have a tendency to not do any actual experiments, but think that they've refuted thousands of years of science while sitting on their coach eating pringles.

Anyway, the Jig is up. It was all a joke. I never believed the Earth was flat, except maybe for 5 minutes. However, I do believe the NASA space missions are half real half lie. I believe the ISS is in orbit, but no man is actually on it. I believe humans have landed probes on the moon, with noone actually on them. This is why you can measure lasers on the moon, and see the ISS, but all the videos of the ISS look fake, because due to safety precautions NASA never actually sent men into space, due to the Van Allen Radiation Belt.

So you're still an idiot, just not a complete idiot.

Secondly, on a round or flat Earth, Mt. Everest is much, much farther than 8000 miles.

Jroa just did a fantastic job of proving pax's point. Utah to Mt. Everest is 7625 miles. http://www.freemaptools.com/how-far-is-it-between.htm

Jroa- do yourself a favor and actually check your bs facts before you blindly assert them and then strut around like an arrogant pigeon.

So, because Mt. Everest IS infact about 8000 miles, Jroa concedes that Mikeman should be able to see Mt. Everest.

So, I will concede that if Utah were to ever move 8000 miles away from Mt. Everest, and all of the air and obstacles between you and the mountain disappeared, and you had a decent pair of binauculars, then you would be able to see the mountain range.  However, none of these stipulations were in mikeman's original post in which he claimed that he should be able to see Everest from his back yard.   :-\

This probe effigy is supposed to be flying by pluto. It was declassified as a planet before. What's the betting that they re-classify it as a planet again?

This is the utter utter bullshit we have to keep on swallowing. You see, apparently it was just an irregular rock and small. It was all supposedly mapped out and sorted for us all to be told with confidence that it's not a planet as it's too small to be one.

Now that this pretend probe sizes it up, it's going to be shown to us as a planet once again, because this space shit is getting boring for most people, except the tefal heads, who don't count in the grand scheme of things as far as the wider bullshit goes.
It's the wider public that need to be amazed and baffled, because this stuff paves the way for more tax dollars to be released for more probes and crap to actually land on these fictional planets.

This way we get little movies of all planets with probes and rovers on them, including little fictional pluto that's soon to become grown up pluto that will take it's place, once again, back into the planet family.

 ;D

Come on people, what's the betting?

My guess is within the next week or two we will hear all the bullshit about it being a re-classified planet.
What's your guess, people?

Here's a bet: if in the next month if it remains a dwarf planet, you won't post for 3 weeks. If it gets reclassified as a planet, I won't post for 3 months. Deal?

"It's basically a description of the world that is well supported by evidence. What do you have a problem with? "

What i am saying is if the globurists can be taken seriously without any creation theory preferring instead to pick up the explanation after assuming all the had work has already been done (space and everything in it was already there) due to some miracle why bother with a theory at all when you can fob people off  with miracles that need no explanation

Because we don't have a firm explanation of the beginning of the universe doesn't mean that all of astronomy is wrong. We aren't entirely sure of how things got here, but we know what they are like now that they are here.

Do you know how the universe began?

Are the moments leading up to the big bang globurists kryptonite?, i've squeezed a few for a theory but just cant get one, its very unusual, they've usually got an explanation for everything and supporting photos or a diagram as proof.

I'm sorry you're too lazy to do your own research.

I found you a summary. It literally took me 7 seconds on google.

Throughout the Bible, the Jews have a history of being good at three things - acquiring money, genociding non-Jews, and fighting amongst their own tribes.

The bible is mostly ruminant odure. Sodoom and Gomorrah didn't really happen like the bible describes. The Jews were never very powerful, and weren't able to do much genociding compared to say, the mongols.

Never said I liked mongols either. Infact, I hate China.

You've missed the point and displayed an ignorance of geography and anthropology. Mongols and chinese are totally different.
