Put simply, nobody has a clue.

Probably not the only thing FE'ers have no clue about.

I fixed that sentence for you. :D You are welcome.
I constantly peruse the Debate sections, and i haven't seen compelling proof to dissuade me from my belief in the flat earth. Since i have already formed my belief based on fact presented to me earlier in my good ol' life... and since i am confident in my beliefs... it is going to take something rather compelling to change my mind.

Love, Dann

(Try fixing your own sentence. I see alot of errors.)

Facts presented to you earlier in your good ol' life. What "facts"?

When you are presented with clear evidence, the burden is on you to dis-prove it.

You cannot dis-prove evidence with theory.
I haven't seen any clear evidence.  :-\ Sorry. Well... not pertaining to RE.

You haven't seen any? or You have chosen not see any?

Say, gravity?

Gravity is not a discovery, it is one component of a theory. Next, please.

You are a bendy light specialist? NICEEEE!! :)

You must get all the hot chicks!!!

Flat Earth General / Re: This is a joke site right?
« on: April 13, 2010, 08:45:36 AM »
It wouldn't be as entertaining if this site were a joke site.

Of course its a joke site. Only the trolls pretend otherwise.
There are those of us that genuinely believe in a flat earth.  James and myself are two prime examples as we both do extensive flat earth work outside of the website.  I'm founding a second group as well as still participating in the first group I formed and James runs another local flat earth group.

Flat earth work?

What exactly do you do? I am very interested.

Everytime an RE'er presents evidence, FE'ers will disprove it with a theory with no evidence.
I have yet to see any evidence from an FE'er
FAQ is not evidence
Its not fair!!!!   :(

How many people do they have to pay off to keep this conspiracy quiet?

How dare he point people towards evidence! Damn him to hell!
... Good job at reading there, buddy. The point is that it isn't evidence at all.
Are you upset Tom doesn't hold your hand and walk you through things?

You guys are just whining now.

We have to hold Toms hand and walk him through every peice of evidence presented by RE'ers.
I think we would like the same treatment from his end :)

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: Gravity and space travel
« on: April 10, 2010, 02:51:44 PM »
According to some FEers, sustained space travel is not possible because the whole universe is nothing more than 500,000 miles in size.  Those shiny dots?  Just dots.

Ok, so what is at the edge of the universe?

By lying about ship observations with broken telescopes? Oh, my bad, sorry go ahead.

Ship observations aren't mentioned within the first few chapters. The first few chapters are on the convexity experiments which demonstrates that the earth's surface is not curved as popularly assumed.

I was reading those chapters and my first thought was "wouldn't you get a different result assuming bendy light was true?"

ENAG says that light travels in straight lines.

Where is your data?

Flat Earth Q&A / Gravity and space travel
« on: April 10, 2010, 09:10:11 AM »
According to FE theory, the whole point of the FE conspiracy is to make people think space travel is possible, when its not.

If there is gravity everywhere except for earth...

Why would space travel not be possible?
