on what case do you accept reasonable evidence though?
is it because you have been told to accept and taught the boundaries of reason throughout your education, correct me if im wrong, but i believe so, in which case why is it so implausable for you to have been taught what to think?
Explain this, and you, my friend, have a valid argument
I am not argueing the theory of the FE merely discussing it, and until it is proven 100% (or disproven) then i do not feel the need to choose between, much the same problem arises with the existance of god.
What do you believe about the existance of an all powerful being?

in this way your statement is true, but this brings up more queries, would you care proving there is indeed poisonous plantlife on this earth..
by the way if your gonna talk about it like that with govornment conspiricies, surely all facts about poisonous plants could be made up, therefore to prove they exist you would indeed need to poison yourself with a plant, (or another person) and in fact watch them die...
Care to "prove" they exist?

im not saying that, as obviously people have been killed by poisonous things before, but the number of people who have been into space and actually seen the earth is comparitively little to those killed in the manner of which you are suggesting.

you mean much the same as you have no evidence the earth is round.. im not a FE'er before you go off on one, purely stating that without personal experience, we are placing all theories on belief, we are in fact questioning the govornments, and the theory of the RE as the is no proof apart from what we are given and told to recognise as the truth,
(for more details find my post about the example of showing a child a photoshopped image) all in all, that post basically says, if i were to photoshop an image of something, as an example, lets say.. a chimp, to give it wings, and then told a child who had never seen a real chimp that this is what they look like, they would believe you as they are given no alternative, these FE'ers are simply offering an alternative

im not so sure on the technicalities on what is over the other side of the ice wall, as is anyone else as of course it is kept top secret, but i fail to see what the problem is with earth plates? as long as the wall was not neccessarily built continuously on the surface and is patrolled, i cannot see the problem, perhaps the govornment is in fact using all of these sorts of theories such as the plates being where they are to, as you said "debunk" the FE theory, however if all of the plates are freeflowing, with a "ring/wall" of ice around the outside, as long as the plates are kept within these boundaries, what is the problem? unfortunately, i need to go, and i regret to say i wont be online again over the next few days, my exams are over and partying begins, i will however, get back to any questions asked if sent to my inbox or alternatively, ill check back in more than likely on sunday nite...

Because I would have to be INSANE to believe that the sun is only 32 miles in diameter and 3000 miles up... yet can only cast light for about 7000 miles?

At 10pm tonight, it will be dark where I live. For the FE model to be true, that means the sun, which should be clearly visible to me... is invisible because it's too far away. And that seems reasonable to you?

The FE model holds that satellites don't exist, and it's a huge conspiracy. Really? First I've heard of it! I had Satellite TV, and let me tell you, that dish is highly directional, and there was no transmission tower.

first of all, i seem to wander as to why you are getting angry as to what other people seem to think, i am not a FE nor a RE  (or a figure-8 E  )
all i am doing is debating with other like minded, and not so, on a forum.
You have seen pictures, may i say woop-de-bloody do, so if i could photoshop a new crater on the moon and teach kids that is in fact named the pringles crater, they would believe it, and why? that is because i am telling them to, they do not need to question as they are being told to recognise this as the truth.
    You state the moon is clearly round, how do you know this may i ask?
Pictures? i believe i have delt with these already.. a telescope? well if you read my other post in 3-4 forums about S-9 atoms that'll clear that up for u. What next, ahh the sun, this as explained by many FE's is a spotlight, well i cant see any way to disagree with the plausability of that (not the probibility, just the mechanics of how it works)
     The suns invisibility to you seems perfectly plausable to me, as explained, the holo-genetic "o-zone" layer and atoms in the air can easily stop you from seeing this.
     Next up we have satellites, i am not claiming there to be no satellites, so that clears that up, as stated i am not a FE'er.
   And last but not least, you wait for evidence to arrive about the FE?
If the govornment managed to create the ice wall, and stop anyone from ever witnessing it.. then how difficult is it going to be for them to stop evidence of a FE and make it sound entirely implausable, not very may i say. And just out of interest, what is the evidence you have of a round earth? Oh.. yeah right, i forgot... u were told

the atom is neither sphericle, flat, or triangular.. it is in fact made up of mostly... empty space..
now.. what if, the govornment could manipulate these atoms into certain bonds, such as the "o-zone" layer, if all of these atoms, instead of carrying empty space, were in fact filled with the govornment-made holo-genetic, synthetic material, whats to say all that we see at night, is in fact a hologram?

this is in-fact and easy way for the govornment to control what we see

if you would care to read my other post, these can be easily explained with the theory of the S-9 atom:

the atom is neither sphericle, flat, or triangular.. it is in fact made up of mostly... empty space..
now.. what if, the govornment could manipulate these atoms into certain bonds, such as the "o-zone" layer, if all of these atoms, instead of carrying empty space, were in fact filled with the govornment-made holo-genetic, synthetic material, whats to say all that we see at night, is in fact a hologram?

explaining, different constellations would be explained, as for the seasons: climate control inside a dome (as explained somewhere else) is in fact relatively easy, like having an indoor snow room

just want to compliment you on your understanding of the entirity of the human race, people believe what they want to, and sometimes what they are told to, making either the FE or RE theories invalid, none can be shown with evidence for sure, i just seem to think the arguments for a flat earth seem more coherent and explain things which RE theories cannot.

all i am trying to explain is that, your curriculum is developed by the govornment, you learn what they want you to learn, you are in fact (no matter how independant you think you are) controlled, and restricted by the rules and regulations of the govornment. For you ever heard of the s-9 set of elements? i doubt very much as this is a scholar talking to a bunch of over-philosophical school-kids/adults, as this was never in your curriculum i will explain:
the S-9 element is a theory in which an unstable atom of unproportional size and weight exists.
This atom is more powerful than any nuclear substance in its strength of reactivity, it has been highly disregarded as a theory, and guess who by?
govornment scientists.

im a student interested in medical science and marine biology, i was wandering, whats the probability that pangea ever existed? yes, there is fossils spread.. explained by dogplatter what more proof do we need? Whats to say anyone here isnt a govornment official.. it could be a person disagreeing with these theorys to put forward and argument that "surely must be true" or whats to say someone coming up with absurd theories isnt and agent putting forward these to strengthen our belief in the RE? personally i believe a FE is entirely possible, the ice wall seems plausable and the penguins used to sustain wall workers, that seems entirely likely and economic.
