As you travel over the curved surface, why does your measured altitude not change? Surely if you charted your course it should show an arc, or even a complete circle? The fact that sea level remains constant is further proof the Earth is flat.

It wouldn't take more than a few hundred people to hide the truth. And most believe this to be a conspiracy to keep power and wealth than another more sinister motive. Keep it simple: if people continue to think the world is round, NASA and defense agencies can profit wildly from their programs, it confuses developing nations and keeps the balance of power within the technologically developed nations.

Knowledge is power. Power is a thing the conspirators want to keep.
How does a belief that the Earth is round inhibit a developing nation in any way?
How are you supposed to develop guidance systems in you don't even know the shape of the planet? There's a reason the first long range weapons used inertial guidance, and there's a reason the Global Positioning System everybody uses was designed and implemented by NASA and the US Army. Most people don't even realize that a compass will lead you around in circles.

The Earth being round is one of just many lies they tell us, but possibly the most shocking.

Any experiments that are supposed to prove the Earth is flat will be easy enough to criticize.

Got that right. Especially when experiments to show the earth is round are pretty easy to reproduce.

Sorry, my mistake, I meant to say "any experiments designed to prove that the earth is round will be easy enough to criticize. Although this doesn't mean I'm not willing to discuss old school opinions about disproving why the earth is flat. For example, why does altitude never change on a supposedly round planet?

No, only a few hundred need to know, and most of those are just paid off and not among those controlling the balance of power. If you follow a compass far enough, you'll soon find that you're traveling perpendicular to the direction you started. Should you bear south long enough, you'll end up sailing around the perimeter of the ice wall, and as you know, it's only possible to spend so long doing this before you need to head home or risk dying of exposure. Likewise, aircraft navigation, even navigation on foot or in a car provides the illusion of a linear magnetic field, when in fact it's more of an unstable spiral.

The few astronauts that have been high enough to see the surface could well have been convinced that they were in fact seeing a sphere and not a cylinder, but nevertheless, these people will have been paid off. The people guarding the icewall need not know what they're guarding, only that they will surely perish if they stray too far from their post. Technicians maintaining the radio systems that pass for satellite transceivers also have no idea of their real purpose.

Just a few, select persons know the full story, the rest is on a 'need to know' basis where they have just the bare details needed to, say, direct the Perimeter Defense and Control.

Don't forget that gravity and the atmosphere itself bend light, not to mention our eyes are less than perfect instruments. The Earth, like most other planets, isn't spherical, even though it may appear to be from a distance.
You sir are fucking retarded.
I am simply able to evaluate the evidence and see things how they are. Being able to perceive a slight curve from the window - the lens - of an airliner with another lens, your eye, does not imply that Earth is a sphere anymore than it does that it's a cylinder.
It implies that you are idiotic for thinking that all scientists are wrong and that internet fags are right.
Most scientists can only know for certain what they've researched themselves, the rest they learn like anybody else. Any experiments that are supposed to prove the Earth is flat will be easy enough to criticize.

Look at it this way: with a compound lens, such as an SLR camera, the image displayed in the viewfinder isn't affected by the angle you view it from. Besides, the multiple layers of material in an airliner window aren't the main issue; dark energy, atmosphere and gravity have somewhat of an effect, but it's mainly an illusion caused by the way people perceive distance.

We should probably forget most pictures, as they're not accurate enough to use as proof.
