Flat Earth Q&A / Re: whats keeping us together?
« on: October 18, 2008, 02:09:07 PM »
Try standing on a beach ball.

Then why don't the rocks fall off the bottom of a FE? If the rocks don't fall off then why wouldn't I? ALSO! If there is no gravity, then why don't we just fall apart?

I heard the the earth looks round from space due to bendy light.

Flat Earth Q&A / Are you FEer or REer
« on: October 17, 2008, 06:41:50 PM »
I just want to see if there were more REers then FEers in this "flat earth society". and if you pick dark energy field, that means you are a SEer. (silly earther)

only a small suggestion: there is a "modify" button  ;)

What does it do?

It blows up planets, don't press it.
does it blow up pluto...IMO i really think NASA should blow up pluto...I don't like it.......................And neither does neptune!

are you assuming that all astronauts speak English?

A reasonable assumption, being as all astronauts are American citizens.

Oh so i guess German astronauts and Japanese astronauts are American citizens even though they are not part of NASA and don't live in America

would it be the international space station if only NASA were doing space stuff?

And add Rusia, they have a space program too.

It's common knowledge that astronauts, space, time, the universe, and other people do not exist. To suggest otherwise is completely diluted, you should feel sorry for yourself. Everything you see, feel, hear, and taste is just your brain tricking you.

Do you mean...does the Matrix have me?

Q: So why does the Earth seem the same size we see the Moon from Earth in this shot? The Earth should be four times larger because their distance is the same.

How can you tell? What's the field of view in this image (in degrees)?

i dunno

1. Get funding for full fledged projects.

2. Fake spaceflights for a fraction of the price.

3. PROFIT!!!

Don't they get a lot of their funding from congress? I thought the government was in on this too.

Wow! Almost 2Billion dollars for more pictures of Arizona and analysis of rocks. Super...
i've never seen pink skies and red soil in az.

I know Ski will answer with the same response. but i just also want to add blue sun sets and a smaller sun.
only one moon as well.

um...Mars has 2 moons, Phobos and Deimos
yeah i know, i forgot which planet we where refering to. :P

speaking of moons, mars has such weird moons...Infact, Mar's moons (and other small moons of other planets) are probably just comets captured by the planet's gravity. I think we should call them "dwarf moons" just like we call pluto (and other small planets) dwarf planets

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: whats keeping us together?
« on: October 17, 2008, 02:25:04 PM »
Why would they fall off?

Because they are on the bottom. and gravitation would be pushing them down.

Supposedly the Dark Energy that is accelerating us through the universe would prevent that from happening.  This magical energy is responsible for what we know as gravity, keeping the sun and moon from smashing into us and keeping our atmosphere in, among many other things.

Then why does the FES say that you would fall off a round earth?

There is only one member of the forums that I know of that can tell you what really happens when you get to the ice wall.  He bungee jumped off of it, and damn if he didn't forget his camera so he could get us a snapshot of the turtle.  I was very upset about that myself.

That was a typo. I meant to say "Then why does the FES say that you would fall off a ROUND earth"

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: how deep is the earth?
« on: October 16, 2008, 06:14:43 PM »
How deep is the flat earth? as in, how far would you have to dig down untill you get to the other side?

because if it is not so thick. shouldn't you just be able to dig your way into space?

In FET, is sustained space travel impossible, or just impracticable due to the amount of fuel being wasted.

Just impractical, you could do it but eventualy the earth would catch up with you.

So re-entry wouldn't be too hard to do then.

have you ever had any astronauts, or relatives of astronauts post topics? I mean, how can you argue with some one who has actually SEEN the earth?

Some have claimed to be, but we figured that astronauts would know basic English.  Besides, most astronauts are probably amused by this site.

are you assuming that all astronauts speak English?

They are part of the conspiracy, thus they cant be trusted.

all 450+ of them?

Flat Earth Q&A / Last post for today. commercial space flights
« on: October 16, 2008, 04:32:02 PM »
If you were to go on a commercial space flight (which you can do today) and you saw that the earth was round, would you become a REer, or is there an explanation?

There are no reflectors on the moon.

well have you BEEN to the moon?

89
As far as man on the mars. I think the only hard part will be gravity. personally I think the rest will be easier then the moon landing. going 6 months with out gravity is what people in the space station. But IDK if they are going to stay there for long. (unless they are going to start building their base right then and there) so 6 + 6 equals a year with no gravity. now astronauts can get there G forces in every day by laying down on a spinning table that rotates for an hour. (that's one idea) But do you think the artificial gravity is possible?
