I'm too poor to buy it. :(

I'm too poor to buy a new pc that can play it even though I can afford it.

Berny
Hey Parsifal - the have free opensource software - why can't they have free opensource hardware?

Onlive.com

You can play the most demanding games without having a powerful PC, it is the power of the Cloud. I am playing Duke Nukem Forever with Onlive and I can attest that the performance is amazing.

Enjoy your latency and shitty video compression making all games look ten years old.
Don't hate, Onlive is the future of gaming. You just jelly b/c it isn't available in Europe yet.

...Yes it is. I've tried it myself.

It's fucking terrible.

Did you try it in America?

Did you honestly think streaming HD video accross the atlantic ocean was going to end well? There is a reason why Europe isn't supported yet. In the fall the UK will get Onlive.

Ok, why the fuck are you applying to 7 public schools and no private ones?

Private schools are the schools that have money to give to you for scholarships and they are a better education anyway. Also apply to some jesuit or catholic schools. They have money.

Just look at the USnews top universities for private colleges to look into.

Yeah, I actually thought that that was all I was going to apply to a few years ago until I looked at the bill. Even if they do have lots of scholarships, I don't want that stress of having to win enough every year, especially if I'm gonna be there for eight. I looked at the US News top psych list, as well as others.
You will get financial aid money for all 4 years assuming you maintain at least a 2.0 to 3.0 gpa depending on the school. Apply to a variety of private schools, some will give you better aid than others that is the process. Most common result is that you get one year "free", discount spread over 4 years.

If you can't bring these to a store and get food with them, what's the point? Nobody takes them at this point.
People believe in it.

A bitcoin is worth whatever people believe they are worth. Just like the US Dollar or Euro.

This is why universal healthcare sucks. If you were in America you could pay for the operation and have the son die wherever you want. But in the UK NHS has made private procedures so expensive that it isn't possible for the layman to get a private surgical procedure. Fucking socialists.

Steam isn't DRM ridden. It is the most reasonable DRM solution out their.

Franklin, the use of a non-medical drug does not necessarily ruin the user's life.
It reduces productivity more often than increases it. Hence, it is bad for the state.
Caffeine is a nonmedical drug. Caffine increases performance. Stimulants also increase performance. Steroids increase performance.

http://www.nytimes.com/2011/01/14/opinion/14rubinstein.html

Why do so many people try to justify this?  It's ridiculous and blatant rationalization, and I think it's yet another sign of the age of technology bringing out the worst in people.

I'm not stealing, I'm just sharing!

Yeah, without permission.  Go ask your neighbors if you can take their bandwidth for free, then I might have more sympathy for you.

People who don't protect themselves are stupid, it's basically offering bandwidth for free!

Yes, they are stupid.  And leaving your door unlocked is also stupid.  That is no more justification for stealing bandwidth than it is for burglary.

They don't need their bandwidth!

I see.  I guess that makes it okay for me to jump onto a half-empty subway without paying.
they have a degree in english. they are shit heads

Don't waste your time dual booting, you could potentially screw your system up. Just learn debian from a remote shell or virtual machine.
