The Lounge / Who is more racist USA or EU?

From her Tea Party National Convention Keynote Address:

[One of Palin's top three priorities once republicans regain control of house and senate]

"Allowing America's spirit to rise again, by not being afraid . . . not being afraid to kinda go back to some of our roots as a God fearing nation, where we're not afraid to say--especially in times of potential trouble in the future here--we're not afraid to say, you know, "we don't have all the answers as fallible men and women, so it would be wise of us to start seeking some divine intervention again in this country, so that we can be safe and secure and prosperous again." To have people involved in government who aren't afraid to go that route, not so afraid of the political correctness that, you know, they have to be afraid of what the media would say about 'em if they were to proclaim their alliance on our creator."

Suggestions & Concerns / Change complete nonsense.
« on: February 03, 2010, 03:11:54 PM »
As this is my 2000th post on this website I would like to offer a suggestion to improve the quality and integrity of the society.

Currently, it seems most of the users here do not post in the upper forums. Instead they post in the lower forums posting in "complete nonsense" and a few of the other lower boards. I feel like this fosters "trolls" on this site. Users who would not normally stay on this site, because they cannot contribute in debates, instead stay on the forum and make posts irrelevant to the promotion of FET. In addition, prospective users viewing the forums may equate our theory and "complete nonsense" and say "Oh, these guys are just joking". If this site wants to be taken seriously, the admins need to either remove complete nonsense altogether, or take this suggestion: Make complete nonsense a locked graveyard (rename the forum as well) for newbie "YOU GUIZE ARE FAIL EARTH IS SPHERE" topics. This way serious flat earth debate and science will be fostered while users with no interest in FET will keep away.

"NEW ORLEANS (AP)-- Unheralded Garrett Hartley lifted the New Orleans Saints into their first Super Bowl with a 40-yard field goal in overtime for a 31-28 victory over the Minnesota Vikings for the NFC championship Sunday.

After a battered Brett Favre threw away the game with an interception deep in Saints territory at the end of regulation, Drew Brees guided New Orleans to the Minnesota 22. Hartley, suspended at the start of the season for using a banned stimulant, split the uprights"

MELBOURNE, Australia (AP) -- An Aboriginal-themed routine by two Russian ice dancers has stirred up a pre-Olympic controversy, with some indigenous Australians blasting the "rip off" of their culture and Canadian native leaders worrying about the insensitivity of the skaters.

The scientific method itself is not inherently flawed, but it has corrupted researchers worldwide. Scientists have to have a theory in order to get research grants, and if they do not produce desirable results, their reputation will fall and they will be less likely to get money for future experiments. This leads to a massive conspiracy of data falsification and pseudoscience.

The most logical way to research to natural world would be to conduct experiments and then form theories, but the result driven scientific community could not survive with this method. There simply is no funding for such experiments. As a result researchers fabricate data to fit their predetermined theories.

Arts & Entertainment / Greatest Norse Band of all time quitting
« on: October 27, 2009, 05:30:58 PM »
OSLO ? Norwegian pop group A-ha, which achieved world fame with its hit single "Take on me", will disband after a farewell world tour next year, it said Thursday.

"A-ha has decided to call it a day," the group said on its official website.

"Doing this now will give us a chance to get more involved in other meaningful aspects of life, be it humanitarian work, politics, or whatever else -- and of course through new constellations in the field of art and music," the band added.

"Take on me" topped charts in 27 countries including the United States when it came out in 1985. Since then, the group has sold 35 million copies worldwide of its nine albums.

Norwegian music professionals quoted by local media said A-ha was Norway's greatest musical export "since Edvard Grieg", a classical composer and pianist who lived from 1843 to 1907.

"Change is always difficult and it is easy to get set in one's ways. Now it's time to move on," the group said when announcing their farewell tour.

Dates have not yet been announced, but A-ha will play in Norway for the last time on December 4 of next year in Oslo.

"VHEMT (pronounced vehement) is a movement not an organization. It's a movement advanced by people who care about life on planet Earth. We're not just a bunch of misanthropes and anti-social, Malthusian misfits, taking morbid delight whenever disaster strikes humans. Nothing could be farther from the truth. Voluntary human extinction is the humanitarian alternative to human disasters."

This is a great idea and the only way to save the earth IMO.

These are the Descriptive verses

Sura Al-Kahf (18:47)

And (remember) the Day We shall cause the mountains to pass away (like clouds of dust), and you will see the earth as a levelled plain, and we shall gather them all together so as to leave not one of them behind.

Sura Taha (20:53)

Who has made earth for you like a bed (spread out); and has opened roads (ways and paths etc.) for you therein; and has sent down water (rain) from the sky. And We have brought forth with it various kinds of vegetation.

Sura Az-Zukhruf (43:10)

Who has made for you the earth like a bed, and has made for you roads therein, in order that you may find your way.

Sura Az-Zukhruf (43:38)

Till, when (such a one) comes to Us, he says [to his Qarin (Satan / devil companion)] "Would that between me and you were the distance of the two easts (or the east and west)" a worst (type of) companion (indeed)!

Sura An-Naba (78:6)

Have We not made the earth as a bed,

Sura An-Naziat (79:30)

And after that He spread the earth;

These verses would only be applicable to a flat earth belief

Sura An-Naml (27:61)

Is not He (better than your gods) Who has made the earth as a fixed abode, and has placed rivers in its midst, and has placed firm mountains therein, and has set a barrier between the two seas (of salt and sweet water). Is there any ilah (god) with Allah? Nay, but most of them know not.

Sura Al-Kahf (18:86)

Until, when he reached the setting place of the sun, he found it setting in a spring of black muddy (or hot) water. And he found near it a people. We (Allah) said (by inspiration): "O Dhul-Qarnain! Either you punish them, or treat them with kindness."

Sura Al-Kahf (18:90)

Until, when he came to the rising place of the sun, he found it rising on a people for whom We (All?h) had provided no shelter against the sun.

Sura Yasin (36:38)

And the sun runs on its fixed course for a term (appointed). That is the Decree of the All-Mighty, the All-Knowing.

Sura Yasin (36:40)

It is not for the sun to overtake the moon, nor does the night outstrip the day. They all float, each in an orbit.

The most obvious proof of moon landing hoax yet. NASA "loses" the tape of the moon landing, then starts "remastering" it to cover their tracks.
