I'm in Louisiana.  The minimum wage here for a server is $2.13 an hour.  Overall, it's $7.50 an hour.  Though, our cost of living down here is much lower than most other places in the country.

No shit, Wendy.  You know the entire nation got a minimum wage increase....except for servers...

Ouch.   :-\

I only make $3 an hour bar tending.  I often wonder if the people who stiff me know how little I make...

When you go out to eat and/or drink, how much do you normally tip your server/bartender?

I never tip less than 20%, and if I spend more than $30, I normally leave at least $10.

I'm now a bartender and am attending LSU with a major in Anthropology.  I've lost 50 pounds and fit into a size 4 jeans for the first time in 6 years.  My husband and I have worked things out and are doing well.  I've managed to submerge my social anxiety and have several new friends I go out to play pool with once a week.  I finished "Around the World" at a restaurant called The Chimes. (Around the world is where you drink 60 beers from around the world from at least 20 different countries.)  It took me 3 months but I pulled it off and now I have a plaque on the wall and a T-Shirt.  Other than that, I've sort of missed some of you guys.   :)

I secretly smoke.  Been trying to quit for a year.  Also Hi Moony.
Oh, hai. :)

On with the topic.  I have a reoccurring city in my dreams.  The dreams change but the place stays the same.

The feeling of being watched can be caused by several things.  High EMF's, drugs, a guilty conscience, etc.

Sorry, I'll try to be less noticeable.

You look very satisfied in this picture.
That's a good thing right? I need at least one picture of myself where I don't look homicidal. :)
Lol, yes it's a good thing.  But, I don't dislike your "homicidal".

I've been a Star Trek fan for almost 20 years and I can say that I enjoyed the movie.  It opened up possibilities of the same story with a different direction.
Moonlit! You're alive!  ;D
Yes, somehow I manage to continue breathing.

I'd never do that. I hate the sight of myself smiling. I look like an airhead.
Aww, I missed you Wendy.   :-*

Eh, I go through my phases.

Big changes;  a new roof and the toilet got repaired.
Finally!  That toilet was bad off.

Okay....I realize that this is completely irrelevant but my curiousity is unwilling to drop it.

Why would you pray for gold fillings in the first place?  (obviously, there had to be selfish reasons behind it which is against Christian teachings)

Did you actually get proof that the fillings were turned to gold by removing them from her mouth and taking them to an appraiser? (highly doubt this but hey, figured I'd ask and also....gross)

Thanks Guessed.  :-*

Moonlit, I generally don't say this about people I haven't known for a while, but you're kind of a bitch. Back the fuck off.
Lol.  You're funny.  I think we should keep you.

So you have agreed with me that ... "as long I cannot back up what I said in my OP to you, you have no choice but to take it (and myself) as non-sense".
And since it will be out of question that I will do it than you HAVE to see me rather wrong (if not totally wrong)... and I believe you. But, at the same time, I hope you are not hurt in any way.
Unless you have some evidence to support your claims then you do not have an argument.  It's as simple as that.
Maybe... I am dreaming to meet here a real independent free thinker (at least as he thinks about himself) who might believe as I do that any real truth about anything can never be presented as a whole to the masses. Why? Because a 'real' and complete truth gives always more power to the learners! but if you believe that who are giving their time, effort and money to help you read any truth, as an act of charity... I also can't blame you. It is your choice ... it is your life... thinking that you (with some other billions) can get any real useful 'truth' for free...
Free thinker: Someone who believes in an ideal, religion or philosophy, based upon evidence presented regardless of the opinions or declarations of others.

Not a Free Thinker:  Someone who believes in an ideal, religion or philosophy, based upon the opinions and arguments of others regardless of the evidence presented.
I personally believe that the truth about anything could be shared between individuals only and never among people in a society/community. By the way, this applies on scientific matters as well for which only their titles and briefs might be allowed to be available to the public (unless they are intuitive or don't give any serious power... mainly the power of knowledge of the true stories behind the events we live).

Thank_you
You realize that a society is a group of individuals, right?  Are you saying that it's impossible for a community to be made up of free-thinking individuals who share a common belief, because once the entire community accepts the belief it is no longer free thought?

So, what you're saying is "Internetists" do not believe in logic but believe solely in what is commonly accepted on the internet?

Here's how you back yourself up:
1.  Name these famous "persons glorified on the internet" that everyone believes
2.  Name common beliefs on the internet that are accepted without thought or reason
3.  Show logic is not involved in the beliefs of the "internetists"
4.  Prove you don't believe everything everyone says on the internet.

That last one is important.  Since you seem to be oblivious to the fact that we're all here for shits and giggles.
