The Lounge / Re: Narrator suggestions and discussings here

Mundy has sent brain worms to steal my ideas, I’d nearly finished a scenario on the newly formed Island of the north York moors 2055, at RAF Fylingdales, two hepped up Glenlivet operatives versus a penguin horde, and he’s doing something too similar not to be suspicious, I’ll play that and make mine a sequel.
Gutted.

Thanks wise.

Bully!!!!!!!!!

announcement soon.

The Lounge / Re: We need to talk about Dr Who (come at me Jane!)
« on: February 27, 2020, 03:13:31 AM »

So, I have been watching this program for longer than I care to mention, it died for a time when they had Sylvester McCoy as he was just shit, but I digress.

I was intrigued when they said they were going for a female lead, having done a sex change on the Master with Missy and the excellent Michelle Gomez, and the first name I heard in connection was Tilda Swinton, which would have been excellent, then there was a bit of flagging spirits when Jodi Whittaker was announced as I didn’t know too much about her, exacerbated when it became apparent that they had opted for another second rate “comedian” as a side kick with Bradley Walsh.

But I didn’t like Matt Smiths face when he arrived, and he was great at it, and I love Dr Who, so.

But I hate it. Bradley Walsh has actually turned out to be better than I expected and Jodi can act, you can see she can act, but the whole thing is like the famous five go to space, no problem is met without a reading from the ridiculous screwdriver thingy that at a push of a  button and a glance, seems to be inspector gadgets Hitchhiker’s guide/Haynes manual to the universe plus, and the other two are just wooden, there’s no menace in her character and too much running away from adversaries, that inexplicably can only shoot filing cabinets with fireworks, despite having pretensions at ruling the universe, how can you develop tech’ to transit time and space and not have decent target lock or shrapnel?

So, I’m with Crout’s here, it’s a chore to sit down now, I don’t blame Jodi, something has gone out of the planning, the writing and the vision of Dr Who.

I would be open to having Jura help me decide on the ghost murder.

Murder yourself bacon boy, I'm with Gayer [i lynch the gfhost of Boydsta]

96

Emmental cheese?? The bastards!

97
I humbly request that Jura’s most recent post be stricken from the record. It is riddled with blasphemy.

Shut it Pig-boy! (Goes for the bacon with her ghostly Axe)

98

No Sleep till victory!

99
Okay, Bastards have killed me and then fools have killed JD instead of Shifter, Bom or Mundy, on top of which our sponsor has gone full on megalomaniac and schemes with the miners, like some deranged conspiracy nut.

But we shall prevail.

Wise you continually talked in the daytime as a ghost in the last game, don't be a hypocrite.

Keep up Jimmy, flying dead whales and plagues of frogs are god trying to obliquely message us to the flatness of the earth, paleontologists, meteorologists and pretty much any one with an ology attached are instrument's of the illuminate and NASA who fight successfully to subvert this message, wake the fuck up!

104

Depends which one of the collective is writing.

105
Damn. We are losing people while the fires rage. The more we lose the worse they will rage

Maybe Jura can tell us who whipped her a little too hard in her sex romp gone wrong?

I think it was you.

106
Pole dancing - Yummy, crispy Boydster Bacon, this fire fighting excursion does not seem so bad.
Did anyone bring whisky?

You have low standards, and I mean subterranean, luckily I have a bottle of Ardbeg Corryvreckan, we can toast the demise of Boydsta.

107

I'll pass.

Season 3 is gonna be kick ass.

I watched 3 episodes.
I just lack the gene that would allow me to connect.

 :(

Not me, I loved it, didn't even figure they'd be another, great news.

"I guess it washed up on the waves."

I have to question how that is not religion.

I have to question how your babblings are not in CN, or being pored over by a mental health professional, but that’s life.

Dead whales are washed up all over the place, the rotting process fills (for a while) the interior of carcasses with gasses that increase buoyancy, high tides and rough seas would do the rest.

The fact that it is in a Mangrove swamp puts it in a brackish (semi saline therefore coastal) environment, so although “whale found in the Amazon forest” is true, it’s not quite the fortean event the headline suggests. The layer of dried plant matter beneath the corpse in the picture is also suggestive that was the high point of some wave event, a low pressure system where there is literally less air above an area can cause storm surges by sucking up the ocean (Katrina caused an 8 metre rise to inundate New Orleans), add this to natural high tides, subsea topography and there is no miracle at all, this is well documented and predictable stuff, so your incredulity is forced and purposeful, as is this whole troll thing about dinosaur existence.

But hey, it gives us something to do.

Kind Regards, Jura.

110

Have you done a vegetarian one?

111
SCG is offering a lot of food.  A completely untrustworthy person once told me to not trust SCG when she offers food

No worries, if I'm pole dancing it won't stay down long.

112
boydster you arsehole!  >:(
I WILL DESTROY YOU WITH MY GHOST POWERS!

Angel pig, Angel pig'
Does whatever an angel pig does,
Can he float through a wall?
No he can't, he's too fucking dense
Look out here comes an angel pig.

113

I take it the apology was implicit.

114

Probably still not enough information for Shifty & Sunset, does anybody have puppets?

115
Jura has either breathed burning marijuana plants and is hallucinating, or she's making it up that she heard the name, "boydster" during the seance. I know the smell of grass, which I didnt smell, hence I say the latter!

Jura is extremely saddened by the loss of stash. I say Jura is scheming to get boydster killed to avenge stash's death!

[I vote to lynch stash]

I know this isn't the day to think of a sunset, boydster, but I bring a last ray of hope!  The ropes to make your noose, have been scorched by the fires, and are frayed & weak! Your hulking sexy weight will break any noose easily.....

Mmm…..

Jura hallucinating, tick, nothing new there move on.

Jura is extremely saddened by the loss of stash. Tick, he’s a good guy, one of our psychics who dies early and is notoriously bad at picking allies.

Jura is scheming to get boydster killed to avenge stash's death! Tick, he’s a saboteur, he’s as good as admitted that and the ghost council agrees.

So, in the light of the above.
She's making it up that she heard the name, "boydster" during the seance. (?)

WTF! The dying of the light has perhaps given us the real significance of his name, used to be brighter, now looking dim.

Boydster will not escape, should his considerable weight break the noose, it will also serve to snap those spindly legs as he lands, whereon we shall set about him with shovel and axe until such time as Boydsta paste is a thing.
Sunset, I forgive your comments due to your reduced cognitive abilities, old age does not always bring wisdom, but I shall be watching.

Now, back to the fire.

117

Awesome!

118

The heat had addled Shifters brain to the extent he couldn't add, or read.
If there was anything off about Jura it was down to the heat, work trying to save his forests and the shabby showers provided.
Could Shifter be in cahoots with the government he professed to despise?

119
Wither it be by the ashes of poor dead Stash, the sibilant whispering of ghostly communication or gleaned,  poring the foul entrails of fire slain Wallabies, this is not a guess.

Boydster be evil.

HIM -6
Me -1

120

With this in mind (and because I forgot to)

[Jura to lynch Boydster]

And i won't miss piggy with my axe!
