Thanks Steve (I liked your old nick better, it felt friendlier)
DE surface tension.
Anyone else?
DE surface tension.

All we can conclude is that its thickness is radially symmetrical.
..As proof of this, take a row boat..
I take it its constantly having to fly upwards?
Dark Energy balances the Earth. It is at its most stable when aligned with its direction of acceleration.
Really RET needs to get together and come up with a common theme for what causes gravity. Some say mass, some say bend in space/time, some say rotation causes it, some say the magnetic field, other its an unproven thing called gravitrons. Call me when RE is united.
Every single arrow on that thing is the wrong way round.I believe not.
UA pushes up from below.*sigh* I know that. It accelerates earth upwards, the resulting felt force on the guy in the illustration is down.
Gravity (if FE'ers admit that it exists) pulls inwards (and isn't caused by rotation). The arrows points inwards.
Cenripetal force is inwards (in order to maintain circular motion).Once again, ive illustrated the force acting on "you and me", the guy in the illustration.
There is no rotation in FET.
The UA's below us. Your thing wouldn't work at all.
Interresting. How would the laser meassure?
In RET, they would measure a geodesic in spacetime. In FET with the EA, they would trace out a parabolic path in space. I am not certain what geometric shape this would correspond to in spacetime.
A particle beam would measure a geodesic in spacetime, not in space.
The earth looks like a plane so therefore it's a plane by pretense. The burden is on you to prove that it is actually a globe. You're the one making the claim beyond human experience here.
This seems to be further evidence that light bends upwards. Thanks dyno.
So there is no scientific discussion here, I cant prove you wrong and you cant prove me wrong.
Some say that the bottom of the FE shields the top of the FE from the effects of the DE/UA. Apparently you believe that at lest some of the DE/UA completely penetrates the FE. Tell me, if enough of the DE/UA penetrates the FE to affect the path of light, why is nothing else affected by that same DE/UA.
If you know earth is flat, then it doesnt appear round for you.
It looks round when viewed from far away.
Then maybe you should stop describing Earth as a sphere. It looks like one from afar. That doesn't mean that it is one.
So, you are saying that the Earth appears round.
From FAQ:
Q: "Why do you guys believe the Earth is flat?"
A: Well, it looks that way up close. ...
In other words, it appears round, but it looks flat up close.. Nice description of a sphere.
It isn't a sphere, though. It doesn't make any sense for it to be that way.
QuoteThat experiment cannot prove that it is the light bending up, because you would get the same results if the surface of the earth was curved. But it's not curved. I don't see any reason to assume that the entire earth is curving when clearly it's only a few photons which are doing the curving.
A round earth answer. Nice.
No, what I described was an explanation for why the Earth appears round in FET.
