What a pair of losers - now bug out and mind you own business!

Rab. It's nearly the middle of the night. I can hear your wife from hear in Canberra crying for you to come to bed. Is this forum and arguing with Heiwa really more important than the companionship of your wife?
No it is NOT near midnight! Your clock is wrong - 09:34:49 PM is not near midnight.
And you could no hear my "wife from in Canberra crying for you to come to bed" because at that time she was on her own computer at 09:35 PM and was for 30 minutes more.

So, so bug out and mind your own business.

Hey......Hey......Hey

Calm down and don't let this distract you from the fact the Epstein didn't kill himself.

Let's say nothing happens from this.... What does it matter? Why would it damage the dems?

Investigations are important. No one is above the law. If Trump is innocent, so be it. However the only one as creaming and carrying on is Trump and the repugnicans. As if no one is allowed to investigate potential wrong doings of their party.

That in itself is disgusting. This entire process should have been non political and professional. Screw the repugnicans. Clearly they care more about serving the interests of Russia playing right into their hands then they do for Americas national security and dignity.

The damage?  If the republicans hold the line and don't let a single vote slide then it might give democrat voters the impression that the impeachment is a partisan witch hunt.  On the other hand it might give republican voters the impression that their leadership is putting their party over country.  It's hard to say what goes on in people's minds.

In the long run though,  people are much less partisan about a president out of office.  Nobody defends Nixon today.  No one is running around calling Obama a crypto muslim atheist today.  In my opinion even though impeachment is destined to fail, the democrats still have to do it.
Trump's crimes will become something much more difficult to defend when he's out of office.  One party is going to be remembered for challenging that and one party will be remembered for defending an obvious criminal.

You mean the Democrats defending Hillary? ;););)(Obvious joke is obvious)

I know.  Seriously though I haven't really followed politics that closely before Trump.  My memory about Hillary prior to 2016 is something something something benghazi.

Let me put it this way, if she is guilty of half of the supposed scandals and whatnot, she'd be the dirtiest politician to have ever lived.

Come on mustache boy, give us the dirt.

Hillary did it.

And in other news, it's cold outside.

Is it? It's supposed to be in the mid-70s here today and tomorrow.

Why would the government want to take our guns unless they will be doing things that warrant us shooting at them?

What, like Trump declaring himself president for life? :P

But here's more normal answers:

Dead people can't pay taxes.  Less guns, less people being shot.
Lower cost of police.  Less guns, less need for hyper-awareness, less need for special equipment like bullet proof vests.  And lower health care costs for them.  Also, it becomes safer so you have a better chance of hiring people.

That worked out well the for Jews in Germany, now did it.

Things like this are why if I thought someone was breaking into my house then I'd reach for a baseball bat instead of a gun.  But a single mom that lives alone, I totally understand the gun.

How about a 58 year old disabled man?
Do I have to do battle one on one with an attacker?

I can't run away. I can't swing a bat.

Do I get an exemption too?

Why would anyone even break into your home or attack you? Absolutely not realistic scenario to be honest!

I didn't even notice this post.

To answer your question.  My statement is about what I would do.  It wasn't a way that I believe everyone in general should protect their house.

So your bat can stop bullets?

Mine can, depending on the calibur.

So you have Deadpool-like reflexes?
Yes.
But considering that we're talking about if my bat can stop a bullet, its not really relevant.

So if I break into your house with a 15 round handgun, you could block all 15 shots in a row with your bat?

I just can't see Pence running for president.  He's more of a weird trump impersonating robot than a human.

Nikki Haley maybe.

I may throw my hat into the race.

Given the choices so far you have my vote.

Can I be secretary of something?

You can be the Secretary of Chicken Fried Cluckers

Or he wasn't lying when he told Anakin that Plagueis could only perform it on someone else and performed it on Palpatine himself before Palpatine off'ed him. That also explains why it was never used on Darth Vader or Anakin (or even taught to Vader or Anakin) as he knew the results would lead to Darth Vader betraying him.

We all know it's the mastermind Jar Jar Binks behind everything.

I'm annoyed they keep rehashing the old people.  "Here, have a Leia.  Oh look, its Luke.  And Han Solo!  And what better way to end the story than to revive the old villian!  Brilliant!"
No, it sucks.  I can tolerate some of the old characters popping in just to pass the torch but god damnit, Palpatine is alive?  Fuck that shit.

What makes even less sense than Palpatine being alive is that the DeathStar, which blew up in a huge nuclear explosion, still exists.

That said, bringing Palpatine back makes sense otherwise the entire saga has no coherent meaning or conflict. That and the whole Darth Plagueis stuff.

Maybe Palpatine finally figured out how to cheat death, surpassing his former master.

It comes out a day before my birthday so I am definitely going to see it. Don't know about opening night, I don't like fighting the crowds.

And I may be the only person in existence who likes Jar Jar Binks. And who liked The Last Jedi.

I'll probably go see it that Sunday on my day off.
