You give me no choice. I'm going to have to bombard you with lesbian rock until you're so jacked up with estrogen that you have your first period.

Yeah, that looks like fake news.  I can't believe you've been suckered in by this.

Melbourne?  That sounds like a made up city name to me.

how was your vacation?

This isn't my job so if I have time off from posting it wouldn't be considered a vacation unlike someone who is paid to post.

Alright.  Have it your way.  I gave you a choice.  But tricking you into getting yourself banned is also fun.

the bill will explode the deficit by an additional trillion dollars per decade.
Don't worry, they will cut medicare, social security, infrastructure...
They'll have to double cut though, make up for current deficit and future deficit.

That's the genius of cutting things like foodstamps and medical care.  The problem, um, takes care of itself.

Yeah there's kind of a dark side to running a country like a business.

Ok thankyou, I have posted about 9 posts on there and things seemed to go quite, and I noticed my username had been used before??

very strange, I tried asking other members openly, but no respone yet. I have changed my email password - but if they are shady, there could be trouble ahead! Hopefully im just paranoid.

Anyway, I hope this forum turn out to be good, and not wierd!

I'm not sure what makes you think your user name was used before but it's probably because you saw old posts where they were talking about you. Check the coding. They aren't actually using your name, they are using [you] which translates into the readers username. If I read that same post it would say Boots instead of brinnbry022.

This.

It only goes to show how wicked they are. We are the truth. They are the deceivers.  We are as the dung of a great elephant that fertilizes the world and they are a dubious cat which only spreads ammonia over daffodils.

This is how far gone some of you are.
It's really never too late.

The only problem is that it's not like we killed every last one of them.

Edit.
You are so dumb it's actually kinda impressive.

You're not this stupid.

You're glowing in the dark a little mate.

Hey d1, how was your vacation?

I'll tell you something about myself that you might not know. I'm really terrible at holding a grudge. This friction between us goes on exactly as long as you want it to.

Seriously. You don't even need to apologize. Just stop attacking me and I'll return the courtesy.

Welp...the tax bill is done.

Good for me I guess? Bad for the average American...

Shit is horrible....but nothing we can do now.

Won't effect me at all.   :(

Round one might not.  In round two they have to figure out how to pay for this.  That might.

It's a good thing, mostly.

The only problem is that it's not like we killed every last one of them.  They're still out there.  And they'll probably go back to conventional terrorism, which they're great at, instead of conventional warfare, which we're amazing at.

I wonder if we might have been better boxing them off into some corner of Iraq that nobody needs and just keeping them there somehow.

I've got to be honest here.  I don't feel good about this at all.  It's like they've elevated some ass grabbing when he was a comedian to the level of rapist.  This sounds like mob justice.
Personally, I feel we should hold our leaders to a high standard. Mistaking signals and making a pass where it is unwanted is one thing. Pantomiming grabbing someone's breasts while she is passed out is way out of line. He doesn't deserve that position.

I agree it's wrong.  I'm just not so sure about the severity of the response.  He apologized, she accepted that.  Suppose this were the oly incident(I haven't looked closely at the others). We can't let it go at this point?  Is there no amends to be made?  Is someone to forever be an outcast for something like this?

I feel that the idea of holding the powerful accountable for behavior like this is so new that there's no concept of moderation in our response.

I'll sum up what they've just done here since it's a lot of information to parse.

Over the next 8 or so years...

Corporations and the super rich get a trillion dollar tax cut.

Everyone else gets a slight tax cut.

Their tax cut is permanent.

Ours will fade away until we're actually paying slightly more in a few years.

They believe that trickle down economics will pay for itself but that has never happened.  It's flat earth economics.

When the debt inevitable grows they'll turn to cutting social security and medicare to make up for it.

This should not come as a surprise.  Every Republican during the primary promised they would do exactly this.  Well technically Donald Trump didn't.  In fact these tax cuts are actually a broken promise for him.

Just like that, Congress has passed a tax bill. A tax bill to give an already booming economy with sluggish employee compensation growth and additional kick to further expand profits without passing anything to employees.  Full employment, record profits, record market prices, but the economy was not good.  Reps better not bitch one single ounce about deficits in the future.

"fiscal conservatives"

It's okay.  They've got a plan.  Next up, massive cuts to social security and medicare to pay for this gift to the super rich.

Christ at this rate, by the end of Trump's term they're going to be voting on laws to make it legal for poor people to sell their internal organs.

Is it your contention that a president of the USofA must me a military veteran?

No.  But suppose a war breaks out and Trump has to order soldiers to go and die in a foreign country.  The fact that when his country called upon him to do the same he lied to get out of it seems a little problematic.

It doesn't mean he can't make good military decisions.  It just seems hypocritical.

I think it's Disney animatronics.

Oh.  I haven't been to Disneyland recently.  I wonder if they're replacing Lincoln's Gettysburg address with Trump's "grab 'em by the pussy" speech.

The timing seems a little coincidental to the rumors of firing Mueller.  I wonder if he'll threaten to veto it unless the republicans let him get rid of the Russia investigation.

That would be pretty wild though.

You think the Vietnam war was a good thing?

That war was horrible. I have never agreed with Rayzor on for the most part, however I will agree here. You cannot write off ones sacrifice to their country even if the country is committing atrocities.

They sacrificed themselves in hopes of bettering their country and the people on it. This should NEVER be ignored or forgotten...
They killed and got killed because they were brainwashed morons, like you, Babybrain. At best they were victims of their government's propaganda.

The same could be said for any participants of an evil cause? Don't ISIS fighters fight for their God? Why not honour them?

When your governments commits atrocities a real patriot fights FOR his country AGAINST the government, like Chelsea Manning did. She's what I would call a hero.

Our military has made some serious missteps but let's not falsely equivocate those with the evil that ISIS has done.  This is just ridiculous.

We have an army of professional soldiers who are legally obligated to refuse to carry out illegal orders.  We can and have court marshaled soldiers who have committed atrocities against our enemies and allies.

Isis feeds children into plastic shredders and throws homosexuals off roof tops.

Joe, are you still there?

I have been learning so much enlightenment from your site.  I think I'm almost at stage 3 now.

Question;  As a stage three I feel a lot of hostility towards those that are less enlightened than me.  How can I make sure that as much harm falls upon them as possible?  I spend 45 minutes everyday meditating on their misfortune but is that enough?

You should not wish any harm to your enemies. You should pray for them, so that like you, they can become enlightened. The fact that you would spend so long each day stewing in hatred and judgment wishing harm upon others you feel are beneath you suggests you are not stage 3. As an 8th stage I think I can accurately gauge you between stages 15-17.

Perhaps after a solid week in isolation, becoming one with nature and finding yourself again, you can come back to us maybe at around the 9th or 10th stage. Here is someone who can guide you on your quest. Because of his eccentric views he is not to be played while you are at work.

Let us know how you go, crudtonius. We wish you good health and happiness!

I remember when I was an 8 like you.  So young, so naive.  It seems I have much to teach you.

Just because I have the rage does not make me unenlightened.  There are many enlightened people who have used a kind of holy rage, like Jesus tipping over the money tables.  Or Krampus who mutilates young children when they're naughty.  Here is an enlightened one using a holy rage on a keyboard.

I have reached such a state of enlightenment that I can now meditate and drive at the same time.  On a straightaway I just let go of the wheel and close my eyes.  My righteousness protect me.  When I'm at a stop sign, I close my eyes and plug my ears and just meditate for 5 minutes.  It really serves to remind me as to how many unenlightened people there are that they're so jealous of my meditation ability.

Peace to you Shifter.  Walk with Joe.  May you breath deeply in his ass gasses and be enlightened?

Now it looks like the CDC is trying to that those words aren't banned after all.  Sounds like a conspiracy cover up to me.
“The assertion that H.H.S. has ‘banned words’ is a complete mischaracterization of discussions regarding the budget formulation process,” an agency spokesman, Matt Lloyd, said in an email. “H.H.S. will continue to use the best scientific evidence available to improve the health of all Americans. H.H.S. also strongly encourages the use of outcome and evidence data in program evaluations and budget decisions.”

I don't have the link handy but I've heard that the banned words were really only suggestions for writing documents that ask for funding so as to not hit sensitive topics(because, you know, Trump).  It wasn't a policy guideline or anything.  It was more like someone coaching the CDC in how to not trigger the hard right.

https://act.moveon.org/event/mueller-firing-rapid-response-events/

Be ready in case Mueller is fired. A lot of weird shit has happened this year, but this needs to be an absolutely bipartisan red line.

Quote
If Mueller is fired BEFORE 2 P.M. local time —>  events will begin @ 5 P.M. local time
If Mueller is fired AFTER 2 P.M. local time —> events will begin @ noon local time the following day

This rumor has been going on for a while.  So I don't know what to think about it.  However there has been a weird trend in right wing media recently, they keep bringing up non issues with the special counsel as if it were a scandal.  None of these hold up under any scrutiny.  They're not even newsworthy.

I have an uneasy feeling that Trump is convinced that this will give him cover to fire Mueller.  I'm even more uneasy that enough of the country is stupid enough to let Trump get away with it.

Ok that's pretty weird... Especially fetus, that's a word that is hard to replace and seems pretty necessary in a medical context.

It's for the ultra pro lifers.

So ultra pro lifers don't even mention fetuses? Like, they're not even a thing to them?

They'd prefer the term 'unborn baby'.
