Flat Earth Q&A / Re: Why do you believe in FE / RE?
« on: May 08, 2008, 06:36:35 PM »
There is a multitude of reasons...

1) You reject Flat Earth Theory
2) Failing that, you neglected to even read the FAQ
3) Failing that, you neglected to lurk moar
4) Barring consideration of any of these, you apparently joined these forums with serious intent

You're writgh Oscar, English is my tird language.
Well, you certainly are shitty at it.

Bless me and my barbed wit! :D

Wait. Flat Earth people don't believe the sun emits heat?

. . . you can feel it, though.
Oh, that's just Narcberry. You'll get used to him. :-*
Oh, is he really a believer, or what? I really need to know which of you are serious, if I ever hope to understand your religion.
Basically, a few of the moderators and a botty lil' troll designated "Tom Bishop" constitute the forum's active members who seriously believe the earth is flat.

As near as I can figure, the elephants and the giant turtle concept has fantasy novels as its primary source material and has absolutely no grounding in canon FE theory (at least, no actual FEer on this forum has ever argued in favour of it). As such, I motion for it to be removed from the FAQ (if only so that stupid noobs stop referencing it in vain and unoriginal attempts to be funny).

Also,
Another victory for FE!!!
Here endeth the lesson.

Even if we assume that the entire world conpirate, there is a lot of fact that should be explain.
Even if we assume that English is not your first language, you're still an idiot.

At first I thought this thread was called "day-to-day life as a flat Earth theory", and I was intrigued :(
My next poem shall be entitled that.

I am a Flat Earther who believes in "global warming" (though this is a comically incorrect terminology) based on empirical evidence. It saddens me that the impact of planar warming is downplayed through the lie of globularism - on a Round Earth, melting "ice caps" mess with temperature and cause some flooding. In reality, the destruction of the Ice Wall heralds an apocalypse which could eventually eradicate all life on Earth. The Conspiracy don't care. They're arch-hedonists who only care about money and short-term pleasure.

We can console ourselves on the basis that fossil fuels are rapidly being used up. The Ice Wall is of immense stature and thickness, and it is unlikely that any terminal damage will ensue from the couple of centuries, maximum, in which we will continue to use fossil fuels.
At least one Flat Earther believes in global warming...though it is apparently incorrect terminology (comical, too, no less).
