Its regular cycles are the effects of residual motion. The pressure of the UA has squished the sun so that the top and bottom are nearly flat. The bottom surface is dense, flat, and highly reflective. As the heat, which comes from the core of earth, dissipates towards the sun it is reflected off the surface. This is why sunlight is percieved as "warm." Most of this infrared light is changed due to the acceleration of the earth and sun, as well as atmospheric effects into visible light.
There, much more likely than a giant bomb that is fueled, detonated but refuses to explode.
Especially the free energy part. If warmth all came from the earth and was merely reflected off the sun, it'd be warmer underground, not cooler! And where did light come from in this reaction? The only explanation is free energy. Narc, you can do better than this.

its especially fun to climb mountains.
I think my favorite part of FE trying to defend this was the repeated "no, SURFACE TENSION keeps the atmosphere in!" despite my and others myriad proofs that surface tension exists soley between liquids and gases, not gases and vacuum. Definately one of the highlights of my time here.

Gulliver, I have to agree with divito on this one. There may or may not be stars below a FE. There is no way to prove there are or not without more evidence.
But then, so many faculties of FE are flawed beyond flaw that it is impossible to stay by this theory.

I know i did. Technically speaking, my namesake did as well, as he used a compass and the magnetic lines cannot exist as lines of longitude in FE.

Tom is right in saying that light through a medium will spread through the area. I live next to a municiple airport, and despite not being able to see it in any direct way, the light it gives off into the sky are enough to see by quite well at night.
HOWEVER, it does NOT explain a sunset. The shape of the sun would NOT be distorted, it would just, as he said, appear hazy. If the FE sun was for real, the sun would not only keep most of the world rather bright through the same principle I mentioned with the airport, but it would appear to grow thinner as it grew distant and approached the horizon (which, though it would approach it, it would never touch/dissapear behind it: it is an asymptotal relationship. Don't let tom try and convince you otherwise, because its not true.)

Ya, the Pearl Harbor conspiracy makes the most sense: we know the attack is coming, but allow it to go ahead so we can get in the war. Lots of evidence to support this, actually, one of the biggest being the fact that all the aircraft carriers were out of the bay.
As for this, I have to agree: where is there any mere suggestion of a conspiracy? There seems to be no tangible evidence to support it, just all assumption: using something you can't explain to prove the existence of the conspiracy, or begging the question.
I don't understand the point of that picture, Khris. I didn't ask for photographic proof of anything. I asked for historical mention to the Flat Earth and what would lead people to believe it's a conspiracy. Besides, if you're going to post any pictures, post a real one.

I know tha, but just as I think about it, I feel theres a piece missing. A cup being accelerated upwards would create eddies in the air, a way both in and out. Shouldn't there be strange cross currents in the FE model? Verticle winds near the poles?

The earth is clearly flat, as my house's vector is made on the same vector of the house next to mine and HIS house is flat. Furthermore, my level reveals my workbench is flat. Ergo, the earth is flat.
Now I'm going to post an arbitrary, semi irrelevant diatribe that reveals nothing but a local viewpoint of an explorer, and go on to make up more facts about his life:
James Clark Ross and his expeditionary fleet sailed around the Ice Wall for a number of months in circumnavigation. Between pit stops in Europe and his polar expeditions, he spent the next five years of his life vainly in search of a south sea passage to the other side.
After he couldn't find the south sea passage, he got terrifically depressed, divorced his wife, and took to drugs. Despite being burdened and dissilussioned that his government and all the others had lied to him about the shape of the earth and being completely stoned, he decided to reveal the truth. He designed a really really big hot air balloon (RRBHAB) and floated up into the sky. However, his camera flew away when he accidently dropped it over the edge of the planet, and the universal accelerator carried it away. His balloon also tipped over in the gale force, 500 mph winds experianced at that altitude in the jet Stream, and he fell. Lluckily, the UA slowed his fall, and he landed on a snow-mobile riding moose. Greiviously injured because of falling on the antlers, he whispered his account into the animal's ears before he died. The moose wrote down the account and it was translated into several thousand languages, including gnomish. Unfortunately, the RRBHAB was recovered by a national government and became the basis of modern psuedolites, a central tenant of the infinitely powerful conspiracy, which actually controls even the most fundamental laws of physics so that they could only apply in certain aspects at certain times.
Ergo, with the tale of the explorer and the moose, in conjunction with the evidence of the conspiraDiety's ability to revoke gravity in propaganda videos, we must conclude the earth is flat.
Ergo you are wrong.
Ergo I am right.
Ergo everyone else on the planet is wrong.
Ergo I win.
