« on: March 10, 2007, 12:11:51 PM »
Place your bets ladies and gentlemen!
What will be the FE response?
A. Read the FAQ
B. Read Earth Not A Globe
C. Use search
D. No logic response about how its a conpiracy
Taking all bets!

Why we should trust you guys if we can't trust NASA, or anyone who tells earth is round? And don't tell me to read the Fucking FAQ, I want answer from you.

We're not the ones extorting the nation for trillions of public dollars.

Ok, fuck this.  I'm tired of being nice about this and being civil.  You guys are too god damn stupid to listen to reason.  Where the fuck is the money to be made in this?  Where?  Is it in the airlines? Then why travel in a slight curve to get there destenation faster instead of a straight line?  Where is your proof that satallites are not launched each day?  Where is your proof that GPS and other satallite provided services are really ground based?  What the hell?  Of course, this will get broken down into bits and pieces by FE'ers and skip alot of arguement points on my parts or tell me to read Earth Not a Globe or that stupid as shit FAQ.  They both write circles around themselves and prove nothing.  The fucking experiments are bullshit.  Where is your proof of the Ice Wall?  Where is your proof of any of this nonsensical dribble that is slung forth?

If the Earth was indeed flat, there would be no need for this.  Also, all you have to say is to read an article thats URL contains the words "sacredtexts"? I lol'd.  I lol'd hard.
'Sacred Texts" is just the name of the site hosting the book. You can also purchase it from amazon.com if you'd like.

Plus, in contradiction with this article, when looking out upon the sea, you will see the sails of a sailboat dissapear off the horizon last.
No you won't. I've observed this many times myself. The whole boat simply 'fades' out of view.

Actually, it doesn't "fade out of view". Bottom half disappears first.
Haha. Oh wow. Way to skip parts of my arguement and quoting the funny part about "sacredtexts".  It seems that all FE'ers do that.  With science, with proof of the Earth is a globe, with everything.  You all fail hard.

Alot of my little mini facts you can't undermind or falsifie based on your own opinion so you
A) look in the FAQ
B)Tell me to read some dudes book which is one guys opinion verse the world
C)Skip over it...
That makes no sense.
It makes plenty of sense. thats what you FE'ers always tell us to do.

Then try reading Earth not a Globe. I link to which can be found in my signature.

Reading it now.  Bunch of nonsense, similar to your FAQ.  Also, explain the path of airplane travel.  Instead of going in a straight line, they go at a slight curve to conserve fuel.  If the Earth was indeed flat, there would be no need for this.  Also, all you have to say is to read an article thats URL contains the words "sacredtexts"? I lol'd.  I lol'd hard.

EDIT: Earth, only 60 miles around.

Plus, in contradiction with this article, when looking out upon the sea, you will see the sails of a sailboat dissapear off the horizon last.

Satallites:

http://archives.cbc.ca/IDC-1-75-2059-12848-10/on_this_day/science_technology/twt
Space Travel Fun:
My favorite channel, the NASA channel. 376 on Direct TV.  Live feeds from the current launched space shuttle, interviews with astronuats, that kind of thing.
Footage from Space: http://www.gotfootage.com/gf/store/node/viewer/type/quick/qs/NASA/pg/1

By the way, before anyone says "Its a conspiracy", its not a conspiracy if there is no just cause.  Also, before someone says "READ THE FAQ" I already have.  Wrote circles around itself. No proof of anything.

They just change their arguement and contradict themselves constantly.  Its still funny to laugh at their belief in psuedo-science.

Also, read Elegant Universe or The Dancing Art of the Wu Li Masters.  Both highly credited physics books writen by poeple who belive in Globe Earth.  I'm sure they make a pretty good arguement, also.

And, to quote astronomy101 "YOUR A LAIR, READ [book name]!"

Take a pen, hold it above the floor and let it go.  There you go, proof of acceleration.

Proof of round earth.
Make a pendulum.  Swing it perfectly straight. It will get of axis in a way that could not be caused by a slight tilt, as the FE theory says.  It is more along the lines of a spinning, orbital globe.

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: Wait, what?
« on: March 09, 2007, 02:15:08 PM »
I believe that was his point.

Maybe so, but my point was that I wanted firm, solid ground proof that thin oxegen levels at high altitudes backs up the FE case.
Gravity=acceleration.

There you go.

Prove it.  Prove to me that the Earth is accelerating upwards or whatever you guys say.

What victory?

Logical victory.
The fact that you believe the Earth is not a globe gives you an automatic
-3000000000 points.  Your arguements subtract another -1000000000 points.
Any arguement agianst this post is a conspriracy by NASA and the goverment.  Just like you guys say.

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: Wait, what?
« on: March 09, 2007, 01:55:46 PM »
the fact of your negligence to assuming me not doing these experments would state you have not done them yourself or you found findings you did not like
That is amazing!  Way to go psychologist!

Let us get a little more specific.  The only 'experiment' you have described is climbing up a mountain and breathing, which I have done countless times (Elbert, Evans, greys, torrey's, all the collegiate peaks, and more).  You claim the difficulty in breathing is evidence for the RE, I claim it is equal evidence for the FE.

Your experiment is pointless.

Prove that the thin oxegen levels at high altitudes are proof of FE, and I'll prove thin oxegen levels at high altitudes are proof of RE.

I love how on the one hand FEers say "lol mass causes acceleration not gravity" which may well be the case, yet on the other hand claim that Earth (a large mass) does not produce it's own acceleration due to this mass. You idiots.

Actually, you're just an idiot who needs to take a Reading Comprehension class at your local Community College. You should also look into retaking a few science classes since it's obvious that you can't grasp basic physics.

No I think you'll find it is you who is the idiot. My comprehension skills are just fine thankyou.

What I said was actually spot on. If you had any reading comprehension skills you might have realised this. Although I wouldn't expect any such skills from someone who quotes and links to "Earth Not a Globe" without ever having read it, to try and prove his points.

Monster win.

Perhaps when I am bored, I will answer this abomination of physics.

Bitching about something you arn't proving.  Thats really going to make FE more believable.

This thread is now on my favorites list.  I cannot believe the amounts of win that are in this one thread.

It's just stuff that came to mind as i was reading some of the threads

even though im obviously RE, i couldn't help but read wat some people write

you know that feeling, when you have nothin better to do and you just have to do something to take away the boredom lol

Hey, what is your myspace URL?

I'm impressed by your ability to use google search, Hippy.

you see. he is part of the conspiracy to turn ppl into idiots so i will not listen to him

u see how stupid conspiracies sound now???

basically, not many FE ppl speak logically

they come up with wat seems like a clever answer but when u really think about it, it is actually hugely floored

like giving a car only one wheel
may seem a good idea to save petrol but it's actually useless
You may believe whatever you wish about Eric.

You're asking questions and I'm giving directions to answers.  If you are not going to ask an original question about the FES, I'm merely going to ask you to use the search feature.

Why the search feature? Because you cannot explain the theory yourself?

I did do a search.
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Crazy+ass+flat+earth+theories
Why are you wasting your time here?

its like the idea of the "spotlight" sun

if it is a spotlight, it would not be circular from dawn till dusk, if it indeed centres on parts of the earth, we would see it turning

therefor it wouldn't stay circular and would actually turn into a sort of oblong before it became night time hehe

FE is so flawed
You should read EricTheRed's threads.

Eric the Red is a Viking.  You fail.
You see? This is what it feels like to be talked to in retard logic.

You have writen me into a corner **ALMOST**
By your paranioa, anything can be part of THE conspiracy.  This could include the very members of your community that are just pretending to go along with the FE theory.  This means that anybody can be part of the conspiracy.  So, I submit to you, constellations.
How come certain constellations can only be viewed in certain parts of the globe at certain times in the year?  By the FE theory, we should be able to see all the constellations all the time.  Oh well, I just wait for your "READ THE FAQ" or "YOUR A LIAR" or "METEORS [blahblahblah]" comment.
Do a search.

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: Height of the Ice Wall
« on: March 08, 2007, 11:02:18 PM »
The ice wall is not made of ice.  It is rock covered in snow and ice.  It's just that 'ice wall' has a nice ring to it.

WRONG, YOU ARE WRONG!
Its not rocks, its Icee Machines.  The goverment doesn't want us to know about 7/11 stores dumping Icee Machines in the antarctic/arctic area instead of recycling them.

Toothpaste is mind control dentists use to pad their wallets.  My evidence is the fact that I brushed my teeth even after just typing the phrase.  I'm an anti-dentite.

The point is can you prove the Earth is not flat without using sources influenced by the conspiracy?

Oh yeah? Well, all of your opinions are invalid.  The Ice Wall is really where 7/11s take their old Icee Drink machines.

You see? That made no sense! Yet, for some reason, equally nonsensical arguements are being made on the side of the FE'ers.

lmao

the only problem with that response i received about the ball of ice is the fact that for it to get to the edge of the "flat earth", it would need to break down and move

this is only accomplishable by melting it into water, letting it spread and then freeze it when it reaches the edge

it's all illogical. the fact there is no proof is bad enough but logic must be the main priority first

if it doesn't make sense, why say it??? lol

To quote the smartest FE'er here, Astronomy101...
"YOUR A LAIR, READ THE FAQ*."
Other variations include "FAq", "faq", and "fAq".  Which one are we supposed to read?

What. The. Hell.
It's the reefer, man.

And as for the facts, they are right outside your window.

Saying that I smoke pot just by going by my user name is about as smart as saying you use toothpaste to control the masses.  Plus, Whats outside my window? Some trees? A few cars? Some kids playing soccer? What part of those things is linked to a flat earth?

i've noticed both astronomy101 and Tom Bishop have been online today.

they've both replied in other topics except this one :P

can i smell defeat??? lol

or are they googling their little hearts out to come up with some hair brained theory???

They arn't using google.  They use yahoo.  Because its a conspiracy.

1. Read the FAQ.
2. Earth: Not a Blobe
3. Read 100 Proofs of a Flat Earth
4. Read Flat Earth News
5. Talk to TOm Bishop
6. Use the search function.

Ok, you're getting on my nerves.
1. THE FAQ! IT ANSWERS NOTHING!
2. Earth isn't a blobe.  If you mean "Globe", then where is your proof?
3. 100 ways to write in circles
4. Bullshit news is bullshit.  Its just retardation posts after retardation post.
5. Hard to carry on a conversation with a looney
6. Search button, about as usefull as the FAQ
