LOL, Atheists believe in a God,

No we don't.

Quote
only their God is an unintelligent ball of matter that exploded for no reason. The Christian's God is an intelligent being that created everything with purpose.

From the 'evidence' around us, God's ability as a creator would be  demonstrably lacking intelligence. If he existed.

Why so hard to understand?

Because it's a crock of shit?

Have you considered:

Why nothing has evolved in 5000 years?

False

Quote

Why none of the star constellations have changed in 5000 years?

False

Quote

Why everything in existence has a purpose and meaning?

I'd like to see what purpose and meaning you have applied to everything in existence.

Quote

Why you can't name one thing that is totally random?

Brownian Motion or the decay time of any given atom.

And finally, where did intelligence came from?

Hmm...

Evolution and selection, as per every other trait a biological species has.

Flat Earth Debate / Re: The Sun In Space.
« on: July 14, 2015, 01:01:02 PM »
According to Round Earth theory, the sun is 92 million miles away.

But if it is 92 million miles away, it should only be as big as my computer rendering.

On the first picture you don't see the sun, you see light from the sun that has spread out, because it's so strong. If you have a really strong electric light (like a strong flashlight), you can see that the light spreads out if you look directly at it.

You are talking about lens flare. I guess NASA only has cheap-o camera's incapable of photographing the sun's true identity?

Any camera, regardless of cost, is susceptible to lens flaring, blooming and other artifacts caused by photographing a bright object. Exposure length also plays a major part.

Quote
If so, how did they take photographs like this. I don't see any lens flare in this one.

The 'camera' in this case uses a telescope as the 'lens' and employs various filters that reduce the amount of light reaching the imaging sensor. In the case of this image, only light at the 30.4nm wavelength (ultraviolet) is allowed through.

Quote
Ill tell you why, its because its all fake. Show me a picture where the sun and earth is at proportionate size, like my rendering, with no lens flare. You wont be able to, because its all fake.

So what FOV and focal length did you use to generate your rendering of the Sun so that it compares correctly with the photo taken from the ISS?

It could be worse. In England we have the flag of Pakistan flying on at least one town hall. I'm not joking.
In my town hall, there are 4 permanent flags : European, Spanish, Galician, and city's coat of arms. On ocasions such as the Gay Pride day, there migh be a fifth one hanging from the window. What's the problem?

The problem, if you had the brains to see it, is that all the flags you mentioned fucking belong there. Europe is where you live, as is Spain, and Galicia, and your city. For all I know you might or might not be gay. But Pakistan is NOT a part of Europe, or the UK, or England or the city where ITCHY lives.

When a foreign representant comes, the visitors flag is flown, too. There is also a permanent british flag plaque nearby where I live, in conmemoration of the death of many of them in a notorious defeat against the french.

Well, yeah, Brilliance. That is very different than flying a flag in open rebellion, pretty much, because there are so many Paki's they have practically taken over the town.

Yaakov, I suggest you follow your own advice from the gay wedding thread and don't comment on things you clearly don't know anything about.

1. Arris doesn't, at least currently, live near Rochdale ... His 'experiment' posts make it clear that he is on the east coast of the UK.

2. Only 7% of the population of Rochdale are Pakistani. How is this anywhere near to being 'taken over'?

3. It may not be part of Europe, but Pakistan is a member of the Commonwealth of Nations (formerly the British Commonwealth). You history degree doesn't seem to have included the relatively strong links between countries of, what was, the British Empire.

4. The Pakistani flag was raised for a single day, in commemoration of 'Pakistan Day'.

5. Rochdale is a town that has been largely subsumed into Manchester. A non UK flag flying over it's town hall for a day is of  exactly zero importance.

I'd also appreciate it if you laid off the racist language.

Flat Earth Debate / Re: Foucault pendulum - FAKE
« on: June 25, 2015, 04:10:02 PM »
To the REers,

This post was simply pointing out how one person researched and proved the  Foucault pendulum was a fake, hoax and a worthless contraption. I've read many articles that points this out. I just wanted my fellow FEers to have another small bit of information to use against you REers.

I'm sorry you guys believe the Foucault pendulum is a real device that can be used to verify the Earth is spinning. You guys can't be that naive, you should know better by now as many times the flaws have been pointed out to you. It is absolutely a fake device. It proves nothing. It doesn't even work most of the time. Open your minds and do some reading, you will soon discover what me and the author knows.
Yendor

No, he claimed it, that's different. And I'll claim that Foucaul's pendulum is actual, and I'll use the thousands of pages scientists already wrote about this subject as backup. That's still more than your guys' claims, based on nothing, and backed up by nothing.
Sure you back up your claims by scientist because all of them are the liars from the pit of hell.

Those liars may have saved your mom when she gave you birth, saved you a lot of time through medecines, etc etc. Hopefully they don't lie when creating formulaes for medecines and engines to operate the human body, right ? ;)

You're just a dumbass.
I didn't ask them to help my mother in giving birth, thats a job that every woman in a village in india can do.
i hate medicine, Medicine is the same shit just as science.

That'll be why India has a rate of 220 maternal mortalities per 100000 births compared to, say, the UK's 11. A rate that has been lowering since there was a drive to get deliveries moved to hospitals rather than just with local midwives.

6
Wow, ITCHY. I'm not even sure what to say to that.

Yeah in a few towns there is such a large Pakistani population, it was seen as representative to fly that flag.

Winston meanwhile slowly spins in his grave.

What a load of old bollocks. The Pakistani flag was flown for a single day from Rochdale town hall. Get over it and go back to hanging onto Katie Hopkins and Farage's every word.

The problem is that, regardless of whether Roswell was a balloon incident or a downed UFO, the technological advances you've used to back up your assertion either do not do so or specifically work against it.

Namely microchips/integrated circuits, lasers, modems and fibre optics which have mounds of evidence to show that they are incremental advances on knowledge and/or technology that predate Roswell by decades or centuries. Care to have another go?

The technological advances were back-engineered from downed UFOs. This is confirmed.

Then provide the evidence that confirms this.

Quote
There is going to be counter-evidence that makes it look like these technological advancements were done in increments, but really... they weren't. The records are fabricated, simple as that. The way they came about this technology is likely outlined correctly, but not the original source (downed spacecraft). Fake dates are then fabricated to make it look like these technological advancements were developed overtime, when really they all popped up after Roswell. Closer examination of the  patents confirms this.

So history was changed/generated on a global scale? The practicalities of this make it seem improbable at best.

Quote
Considering your post history, denial of conspiracies, and round Earth belief system; I don't expect you to believe. I expect you to argue. To wiggle your way out of this.

I would have thought I'd be a prime candidate. I believe intelligent life exists elsewhere in our galaxy and the universe at large. All I require is evidence.

And you call that wriggling? I offered up the currently acknowledged history and dates of those inventions for you to challenge, your response is to avoid the argument and whine that I require there to be some sort of evidence. Bravo! Stirling work in furthering your cause!

Quote
But that is inconsequential. All this information will be revealed soon enough, once the public gets tired of the government's lies. They have been working with aliens for decades.

Goodie! Will there be evidence or just more of the same guff?

There was evidence, but it was recovered by the Men in Black shortly after the Roswell Incident. My father was one of the men that found some of the downed ET spacecraft, but he no longer has that evidence (clearly). This is partially why I am so convinced that the Roswell incident was not a balloon but a UFO crash.

Please go back to abovetopsecret.com where you belong.

I figured you among everyone here would at least consider what I have to say. I guess you're just a sheep like everyone else, however. I know for a fact that an alien spacecraft crashed in Roswell in 1947. My grandfather was a witness, he had evidence, and he lost it. It's sad, but true. I really don't care if you believe me or not at this point. I am just sharing my experiences.

Really kind of cool…

We'll let the naysayers come up with some illogical explanation and then forward onto NASA for some doctoring up…

Be Well.

Ooh, a video of the moon so over-exposed that you can't see the clouds passing across it. Well done! Truly amazing. Have a cookie.

This John Titor really isn't as good as the last one. He gave us details on the six main components required for a time machine.

At least it keeps the meme alive.

12
If you guys don't see anything wrong with NASA videos and TV shows. It just demonstrates the thoroughness of the brainwashing NASA has put on you. WOW.

I was born in 2036. NASA did not exist then, nor any time after then. They could not possibly have brainwashed me.
I promise you, they're one of the few innocent victims.

You're not John Titor. Back in 2000 the real John Titor told us he was born in 1998!

Oh, we call them rigs. There were two in the north-east. I need to do some research to find out how far they are and how big they are. They might have even been floating, as they come in and out of port for servicing. I think.

There should have been one 15 miles due east of you, as well as a couple more ENE and 20 miles away. The main field, off the coast of Norfolk, is NE and around 32 miles away from where you were.

<bollocks snipped>

So, let's examine the year 1958. We had the following advancements in technology:
- Laser Technology

Incorrect. The maser was invented in 1953 which directly led to the development of the laser in 1960.

Quote
- Microchips
- Integrated Circuit (1959 saw them come to commercial use)

Incorrect. Microchips and integrated circuits are different names for the same thing. 1958 saw the first prototypes developed, 1959 saw them be patented and 1960 is when they came into commercial use ... following a clear trail of a century and a half of research and development.

Quote
- Fiber Optics

Incorrect. The concept was first demonstrated in 1840 and details on the  first true fibre optic device were published in 1956, following advancements made over the last 30 years in particular.

Quote
- Computer Modem (yes, this is accurate, look it up if you have to)

Incorrect. 1958 was when the term 'modem' was first used following the mass-production of them as part of the US military programme.  Modems functionality had already been around since the 20s as part of multiplexers.

Quote
Also, 1958 is the year that NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) formed. Coincidence? I think not.

Correct! Well done you got 1 out 5 (I'll be generous and not say 1 out 6) of those facts right. Maybe you should shoehorn less and look for actual correlation of accurate facts.

Today I took my research to the coast. I live only 2 miles from a beach.

Conditions: North-south beach on the North Sea facing east. East across the sea lies the Netherlands approximately 300 miles away (not visible). South the North Sea narrows into the English Channel. North lies nothing but ocean all the way to the northern ice pack.

The sea was calm by North Sea standards - some white tops offshore around sandbanks, could not have been more than 1-2 metres high. Tide was approximately mean.

Weather was warm with a brisk onshore breeze. High clouds, visibility very good at sea level.

Several gas rigs were visible on the horizon. I don't know how far they were away, or how tall they were.

To the North lies an extensive offshore wind farm. The wind farm is approximately 10 miles up the coast, and is 1.6 miles offshore. The windmills are 60 metres above mean sea level, measured to the middle (pivot) of the blades, and the blades are each 30 metres long, so 90metres above mean sea level at 12 o'clock position.

There was a large concrete pier to the north of me,  extending approximately 100 metres into the sea. Unfortunately, this prevented me from observing the wind farm.

Conclusion: no evidence of curvature was found.

How many wells and in what direction?

Do I really need to point out that a 'Blood moon' is a lunar eclipse?

Shhhht. They weren't supposed to know - not yet.
They shouldn't know that a blood moon and lunar eclipse follow each other. Although they should've seen it in the photo I shared in my original post.

Let them make separate theories for each and then demolish their arguments with this revalation.

Well... too late I guess  :-[

They knew.

Technology, Science & Alt Science / Re: Silicon
« on: June 10, 2015, 09:27:19 AM »
There was a giant leap in electronic technology when it was discovered that tiny circuitry could be pressed into silicon chips. It was really out of the blue. Silicon is essentially just sand, so there is no way somebody could have thought you could build a computer out of sand! Amazing leaps like that just don't happen.

I think there is only one explanation. Silicon circuits were found in alien spacecraft (probably at Roswell) and reverse-engineered to discover what they could do. It's the only plausible explanation.

Except that it wasn't a leap, nobody thought "lets try using sand for circuitry".

Semiconductors were first described in 1833 by Faraday which led to just over a 100 years of research into the semiconductor properties of elements and various compounds. From the 1940s onwards, silicon was studied and found to have properties that would allow it to be used to create transistors. It took another decade before the first silicon transistor was fabricated at Bell labs and a further decade before the first integrated circuits were developed. Dozens of iterative developments through the 60s and 70s culminated into the first CPU on a single chip in 1971, and dozens more developments have led to the CPUs we use now.

So, iterative research and development over more than 180 years have resulted in the development of the modern PC. A damn sight longer than reverse-engineering would have taken.

Edwin Hubble was the first person to realise

Incorrect. That would be Christian Doppler, followed by Hippolyte Fizeau.

Quote
that everything in the universe is moving away from us (red-shifted).

Incorrect. everything is not red-shifted. Some things are blueshifted due to their movement towards us.

Quote
This fact is now universally accepted by the cosmology community.

Incorrect. The cosmology community actually understand redshift.

stick your willy in a woman's pee hole and a baby pops out! Tell me that isn't magical?

That would be magical. However, I recommend you aim for the vagina - it's far more effective as well as being significantly less uncomfortable for your partner.

23
If not then surely you had to take the Coriolis effect into account which happens because of Earth's rotation.

Unsurprisingly, I didn't have to take into account the Coriolis effect. Wonder why that is?

Because you either got very lucky while you were screwing up your aim, or you are lying.

I used an attachable scope and aimed directly at the target.

So...yeah, exactly what I said.

Didn't you know that Vauxhall is a master marksman capable of accurately hitting targets at 18x a pistol's effective range. ;)

« on: April 17, 2015, 08:37:33 AM »
If you really want to get technical, it's still a meteor in the atmosphere

Actually, meteors only exist in the atmosphere (atmoplane).
If I were still allowed to give points, jroa would get 50 for timing and overall comedic style.
Yes, the rocks that sometimes hit Earth, from space (or the aether whirlpools if you wish), are asteroids while outside the atmosphere, meteors when they come into contact with the atmosphere, and meteorites when they hit the ground.
Ah not quite pedantic enough. While it is true that meteors are referred to as such when travelling through the atmosphere, they are not necessarily asteroids before that. The majority of meteors are caused by matter no more substantial than dust. Even a cometary core entering the atmosphere would be termed a meteor.

Flat Earth Debate / Re: why we cannot trust scientists
« on: March 28, 2015, 07:34:09 PM »
If the sun was expanding, yes. But it seems like you're saying that the Sun loses mass:

Every star loses mass when it gains more on age. I studied physics on University of Warsaw, but I also like astrophysics.

Are you now changing your opinion? Does the Sun gain or lose mass over time (according to you)?

If the sun lost mass, the gravitational pull of the sun would weaken and we'd possibly be moved out of the goldilocks zone. If the sun gained mass, we'd very easily be burned to a crisp. Either way, it doesn't look good for humanity.

It looses mass, but not fast enough to make a noticeable difference.  The Sun will die before Earth's orbit changes significantly.

Prove it.

Here is a good start: http://solar-center.stanford.edu/FAQ/Qshrink.html

The majority of the Suns hydrogen mass is conserved as helium, only a tiny percentage is lost as energy.

Edit: An array of cameras on each plane, facing in multiple directions. This was taken in 1945:

Imagine what can be done now (from a plane).

Also some countries have restricted airspace like Cuba. No US planes fly over Cuba.
Also do you know how resource-exhaustive it would be to fly planes over all the world gathering this data? For a scam they're pretty resourceful!

Nice to have you joining the discussion finally  ;D
no its better because its a real photo , not a generated fake.

Pretty sure it's a fake. I'm reasonably sure they have never had "Hiroshima Pre-Strike Mosaic" written in huge letters on the terrain there.
