It rained here last night. I looked out my back window up towards the moon, there it was, a moonbow. They blow rainbows out of the water.

Flat Earth Q&A / Gravity vs UA
« on: September 30, 2010, 10:04:19 PM »
A friend and I throw a ball underhand back and forth. In RE if a person was watching perpendicular to us, they would see the parabolic motion caused by gravity. In FE the ball would have no parabolic motion and would basically travel in diagonal path towards the catcher. This is an easy experiment and it shows UA is simply foolish.

Look this "ice wall" could just be the midgard serpent, a giant stone wall or, hell, a giant pile of cow dung.

No, that is what this site is.

John D. Right? I think He explained it on the Strange Frequency Radio program. Earth from space looks round.

So since Mars, the Sun and the moon all look round does that mean they are really flat?

Flat Earth General / Proof the Earth is round.

I can't wait to hear the FE'rs debunk this one.

Isaac Newton, Albert Einstein, and Stephen Hawking. They are more credible than anyone on these forums and they never spoke of a flat Earth. Also, Newton and Einstein were both dead before NASA was formed.

Explain.

How are all those pictures taken? And don't say someone flying in a plane took them all.

When I am in a moving elevator I can feel the pull on my body. However, I do not feel this pull while simply standing on the earth as it is accelerating upwards. Explain.

Also, I recommend you ignore Clocktower as he is just a troll.
How is he a troll? He provides evidence with the statements he makes.

The earth is not special. You honestly believe this is the only planet that harbors life?

Why would we?
Well since you claim we are accelerating upward, how can we still see them like people could hundreds of years ago.

Sadly they will compare a dog having legs and a snake not, what a terrible analogy.

How haven't we lost the other planets yet?

Antarctica surrounds the Earth.  I suggest you read our FAQ.
1. Please explain how it has not melted yet.

2. Can you explain how anyone would profit from keeping the shape of the Earth secret?
  - It makes no sense and why would so many companies waste billions on satellites they knew they wouldn't work in the first place.

So are the photographs we have of Mars fake since it shows the planet being round? The earth cannot possibly be flat and you have zero proof. When ever someone points out how flawed FE Theory is you simply say that has already been answered.

You guys make Antoine look smart.

There are a lot of death death bed confessions about the existence of ET life and UFO's by military personnel and other high ups.

Do you have any (non-photographic) proof of these outlandish claims?
Unlike FErs I will actually post evidence http://www.ufo-blogger.com/2010/08/ufo-are-real-ben-rich-lockheed-skunk.html. FYI Lockheed makes aircraft for the military.

There are a lot of death death bed confessions about the existence of ET life and UFO's by military personnel and other high ups.  Wouldn't you think they would mention something like this come out, what would they have to lose.

The Sun is bioluminescent.
Bioluminescence is the production and emission of light by a living organism.

You lose.

At least with UFOs and the paranormal there are pictures, but you guys have absolutely nothing to prove what you're saying is true.

I'm joking OP. the problem is the armed guards that are protecting it, so no one can get close enough to take pictures even with a gigantic zoom, or make videos, no wonder visiting it.
Then show me wide panoramic shots from a safe distance away with armed guards and an ice wall.

They simply do not work out enough. Presumably they do not want to be seen at the gym whilst pretending to be in space.
You have to be kidding me, a lot of people don't work out and they don't have trouble walking like astronauts do when returning from space.

How come after astronauts return from being in space, say at the ISS they have had severe muscle degeneration. I though sustained space fleight was impossible but how would their muscles appear to be that of an 80 year old.
