Six months.

Edit: Well, six months until I'm an adult. I'm pretty sure I'm already the age of consent.

I was still in my pajamas playing when the first Christmas guest came. Damn you, Trekky.

Look, I'm busy. Why do you think I don't ever really post here anymore? I have to apply to colleges and do homework and shit. Trekky downloaded L.A. Noire for me a while back and I still haven't played it.

Edit: This is fun >:(

An 80s zombie. Or something like that. I don't have plans yet though.

I believe this is the first American military action in my lifetime that I've actually been in support of.

I think I may need to fix some this with my Phys Ed credits. Talking to conselor tomorrow; he wasn't here today.

Doing so by changing second semester. First period will be PE instead of Journalism, and eighth period will be Journalism instead of Radio. I may or may not feel like switching Guitar to Radio at that time, but that decision is less important and can wait.

Woo, now I'm all set to graduate :P

Why is there a subject called 'US Government' and 'Radio Broadcast'?

Government really isn't that weird. Radio is unique because our school contains our local radio station and students are in charge of it. I'm just the News Director though, so don't go thinking I'm some badass DJ.

Everything is sorted out! There was some discussion today about perhaps changing Guitar and College Algebra, but some teachers convinced me I'm better off this way. All in all, I'm happy.

1 Journalism
2 College English
3 Guitar
4 US Government
5 College Biology
6 College Algebra
7 Spanish 4
8 Radio Broadcast

Tbh, I don't remember which bit was yours. I remember the handwriting and that it came third, but you'll have to ask Saddam when he gets it.

@Lorddave: My high school has <100 students this year, so if it's a numbers issue, I'm sure I can squeeze my way around it. Also, I saw the counselor working for the bank this summer. His counseling job here is half-time, but he somehow manages to maintain a full-time job counseling in the next town over too.

@Thork: Probably shooting for a Psych major. Dunno what car he drives, and dun care.

I believe this is what I'll be asking for tomorrow when I meet with the counselor:

1 Journalism
2 College English
3 Either a math credit or AP Online Psychology, depending on what's available
4 US Government
5 College Biology
6 The inverse of 3
7 Spanish 4
8 Radio Broadcast

Replace guitar with biology.

They're not the same period.

I'm mainly just whining, but suggestions are welcome too.

I start my senior year in high school tomorrow. The school counselor royally fucked my schedule.

As of now, it says I'm taking:

1 Business Math

K, so, I thought I needed the business credit that Business Math provided, but apparently not cuz Journalism is first period, and because I'm the editor, they told me that they were transferring me to that instead.

2 English 12

I signed up for College English. Apparently there was some question about my ability to receive college credit because of my grade last year, but my ACT score saved it, so I'm good now...? But still taking regular English? Wat...? I know I'll miss having the teacher of regular English, but that's no reason not to live up to my potential.

3 Guitar

I don't fucking know how to play the guitar. This is the period that other seniors are taking Physics. I didn't sign up for Physics cuz I thought I'd like to take College Bio instead, but the counselor decided to put me in neither and substitute it with... music. Does he think I'm retarded?

4 US Government

Fine, whatever, it's required.

5 Creative Writing, but only for the first semester

I would greatly enjoy this, but I've taken the class before, and I've heard of this particular class taken twice has put people in danger of not graduating. And why no second semester plan? I'm pretty sure this is the period that College Bio is, but, y'know, I'm not good enough for science, remember? The arts are much better for me to get into college.

6 College Algebra first semester, then Trigonometry second

The fuck? I didn't sign up for either of these; am I missing math credits? Even if I am, I'd rather not try to take a college course in one semester, especially since math isn't my strong suit.

7 Spanish 4

Cool, fine, I'm actually supposed to be higher, but since they don't offer anything higher, I'm happy with this. I do get my old teacher back that was laid off last year and replaced with Rosetta Stone and this other unexperienced teacher, so yay.

8 Radio Broadcast

I didn't sign up for this, but I guess the teacher requested me cuz I've been in the class before and the staff is really new this year. Whatever, it's just one more year, and it's hard to find good News Directors.

Ugh. I guess this will all be sorted out tomorrow, but I kind of wish that wasn't how I had to spend my first day. Then again, since I'm indecisive as fuck, I started thinking that maybe having two arts would really boost my GPA, or at least maintain it at average. Really the only thing that has to be fixed is Journalism, cuz if I'm not there, there is no paper. And maybe having College Algebra in one semester, because that may be too big of a workload for me. And I'm pretty sure I need a Physical Education credit... Aaaagh, FES, halp.

Durrrrrp. Yes, yours is fine. It's mainly the second, fifth, and sixth that gave me trouble.

Well, Eddy, which one is YOURS? :P

Based on content, my guess is the fourth, which is also fine. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Yeah, the third was one was fine.

Also, done writing now, just transferring. Should have in the mail within the next few days. Probably before I start school on Wednesday, but no guarantees.

And I have a typed copy if anyone in the future has trouble with my writing.

I think I was overreacting; I've got it mostly figured out now. I have a bit typed out and am transferring it to the book. I just can't decide if that's where I want it to end, or if I want to solidify a couple of other ideas that are dancing around in my head.

Oh dear. My apologies, but this might take a bit longer than I thought; some of the entries are kind of difficult to decipher.

I grew up with my parents divorced, and lived most of the time with my mother who never pushed any beliefs on me. My father, however, is a Southern Fundamentalist Baptist. As a curious child, I'd often ask him questions about how a certain thing would work, and he would always simply tell me that God made it that way. Later, Trekky would explain it to me with actual science. My curiosity solidified into skepticism in sixth grade whilst studying Greek mythology. Two years later, I moved, and, without the influence of my father, the skepticism soon turned into agnosticism. Now I consider myself a pantheist, although I really fit in better with atheists.

I didn't know about geocaching, but I was walking once with my stepbrother and he just spotted one. A while ago I noticed it had gone missing- presumably either by the wind or thievery- so I replaced it. But now the replacement is gone too.
