Flat Earth General / Re: Pretending Subquarks actually exist!
« on: July 06, 2020, 04:26:20 PM »
Stop embarrassing yourselves. You have no idea what the limits are. Not even the greatest egg heads know. Thats why they research! (duh!)

When the atom was discovered, scientists thought that was the smallest. That's why they called it 'atom' (literally means indivisible).

Who is to say what we might learn 100 years from now. I'm saying you cant dismiss a sub quark out of hand because we don't have all the data to make that claim. Maybe one day we will. Or maybe it will be forever out of reach to us. That changes nothing

Scientists today say they haven't found it. That doesn't mean the research ends. I mean imagine they ended the research when they found the atom. 'oh it means indivisible so I guess that's it then'.

How is my agnostic view on the matter trolling? You guys need to grow up.
You are trolling and you know it, stop being such a hypocrite. Going off on a tangent about alien races and timelines while you know exactly what is meant is trolling. Thats what you like to do and everyone knows it.

You said it yourself, subquarks have not been discovered yet while Sandy says they have. This is what this post is about.

Someone doesn't understand how solar panels work.
Someone sometimes mistakes the moon for the sun, go figure...

It sounds too silly for words, what possible reason would they have to believe that is anything other than a whacky assumption.

Gravity shapes large objects into balls.
For fe that means they have to come up with another explanation for the downward force we experience.
UA is just one of them.

See my next comment. This all based in globularists assumptions. But seems like those assumptions don't really work. Nothing but a dark red spot on global science
In other words you assume based on assumptions. Got it..
FE'rs are soooo easy to corner its not even funny.

Questions were more directed towards Ski.
I have no doubt you know your subject Solarwind.

Ski on the other hand, being the flat earther that he is ,,, ahem, should be able to explain how he has come aroud this kind of knowledge.

When you live in fantasy land where the earth is flat, moonlight is deadly and dinosaurs dont exist, i think its pretty normal to create a character accordingly.

Does truth does not stay true whatever year it is? Is it a ridiculous claim?

Defend it.

It's very bold to say Truth is not temporal. Or is it just that truth is "true" for its time, letting on another layer of abstraction; this is "true" now; that was then. Overall, the Truth then would be the description of these changes - again making time a dimension to Truth. To me, it must at least be examined as a function of time, if inevitably it turns out it is not - all the easier.
"Truth" is permanent but who dares to claim that they and they alone have "THE TRUTH" - not the scientific community!
They leave that to the "TRUTHERS" and then show with evidence that the so-called "TRUTH" claimed by these "TRUTHERS" is not and never was "THE TRUTH".

As I just pointed out in another thread, the claim to have The One And Only Truth™, and a refusal to be swayed by evidence, are characteristics of some religious cults. I think that maybe Flat Earth could qualify to be considered a religious cult.
Odd; I find that to be true of the globularist community. On the other hand, there are a plethora of flat earth world views.
One would think you could come up with something a little more elaborate than a " celui qui le dit est celui qui l'est"

Flat Earth Debate / Re: Alien Life
« on: February 25, 2020, 03:37:36 PM »
It is well established that the moon is teaming with both life and that this life poses a risk to man through its defensive mechanism of bioluminescence. I find it hard to believe anyone should take the opposing stance as this has been known since antiquity. Further, Ichi has provided us with the results of several studies on bioluminescence that confirm our already well supported knowledge on the subject.

I'd like to understand exactly what is so unbelievable here. It is clear the light from the moon is of a distinctly different nature than those given off by the greater luminary Sol. It is even more clear that it poses risk to us.

You are a fool to think otherwise, and you put your mind and reason at risk by ignoring the obvious signs of danger.

As you can see, the most prolific scientist of 2019 says that is not the case.

Flat Earth General / Re: Rotating stars in the southern hemisphere
« on: January 07, 2020, 09:48:19 AM »
So to my question.... Sorry. The ONLY thing that has baffled me is the southern rotation of the constellations. This one issue has literally caused me to question flat-earth. RE Vs. FE is an ongoing debate... I get it. However, I just can't come up with any supporting scientific support for FE when it comes to the rotation of stars on the southern tip. Under the dome, we should see these stars whipping by along the outer rim... not rotating in a circle like Polaris in the north.

I really need some help with this one as this is a make-or-break point for my committed belief in FE. Thank you in advance to any help or support, both RE and FE alike. Thanks.
I read you can come up with scientific support for everything else.
How about some examples for lets say:

Sunset and sunrise
The dome
The ice wall
Satelite tv and/or gps
Lack of curvature
Lunar eclipses

As even the most prolific flat earth scientists (self-proclamed) here are unable to answer these, i'm sure everyone is interested to read what your scientific evidence is.

U-2.  SR-71.  Drones.
There are only two operating U-2 planes left on the planet, and zero SR-71.

The SR-71 was an achievement America will never be able to replicate.
I have zero idea of where you obtained this information, but it is patently false.

My nephew is stationed at Beale AFB and currently helps to maintain the fleet of U2 reconnaissance planes operating there under US Air Force control. Other U2 aircraft operate under NASA.

In addition, he has told me that SR-71 planes are still known to fly, despite the official reports.

Furthermore, why repeat achievements when you can surpass them?

How can you trust your nephew? He's obviously part of the conspiracy.

Flat Earth General / Re: Planets according to FE
« on: December 07, 2019, 06:30:37 AM »
The most prolific scientist of 2019 has an interesting take on this subject.

Only Flat Planet

This is an interesting question.

Asking why is earth the only flat planet betrays a logical fallacy. Karl Popper talks about this in Logic of Scientific Discovery, and its a well covered topic in philosophy of science, presenting one of the largest issues with empiricism.

As it turns out, each planet we view that is round actually makes it more probable that the earth is flat - this is one of the issues behind the problem of induction. Since the earth being flat has a non-zero probability, each time we observe a round object it reduces the solution space, thus making the non-zero probability have a higher likelihood.

More than this, the idea is logically faulty. I may see a grey goose out my window each day. Does this mean all geese are grey?  In other words, since I can say Object A and Object B are both blue, does that make Object C blue? or Object D? Or all other objects?!

It is possible there are other flat planets, and even NASA has purportedly observed many flat bodies.
.
As you can see the flavor has moved from poison bread to geese but its the same failing analogy.

The jealousy stems from anger.  Which leads to hate.  Which of course leads to the Dark Side.

Flat Earth General / Re: When will RE Community Accept Defeat?
« on: September 10, 2019, 02:39:24 PM »
I find it astonishing that there are people exist that actually believe the earth to be flat. The fact that 99.99% of the world's scientists and physicists believe and have demonstrated proof of a spherical earth and the FE folk have provided nothing means what exactly? They somehow got it all wrong?

I guess we can all believe what we want at the end of the day, right? Be that a flat earth, that the moon is made of cheese or whatever!
Wait for it .... shouldn't take too long

This is a bit off topic, but I'm glad you are here and fighting the good fight Plat Terra.
Yes Plat, you are well on your way to obtain "Flat Earth Researcher" rank.

My thoughts are it's an infinite Plane with other regions like are own. Each unique in they're own way. This may explain all the different races.
How would it explain the different races?
They moved over from the other landmasses on the infinite plane?
If so, which race according to you is indigenous from earth?
How did those foreign races travel to earth?

My thoughts...

Yes, they came from other regions of the Plane.  Some were brought here, some came willingly, some out of necessity while others came as slaves.

There would be no single indigenous people to any region. Each ethnic group has their own skills for the growth and advancement of a region.

They traveled by what ever means necessary and available.
From what i understand about the infinite plane hypothesis is that our current continental layout is our earth. It may or may not be covered by a dome but that is a different story. There may also be other continental layouts out there but they are not part of what we call our earth.

What you are describing resembles what took place here on earth throughout the ages with the various population migrations.
It does not fit your previous thought that races came from "other" regions or landmasses that are out there.

@Wize It's funny you have the nerve to lecture people about honesty when you are constantly lying. To me the most funny lie from you was the videos of the moon you posted, pretending it was the sun. You don't seem to realise you have no credibility whatsoever, even amongst your peers.
@Stash It seems pretty obvious FE see no problem in using data from NASA or any space agency if it fits there agenda.

Magnetism (not manyetism) definition: a physical phenomenon produced by the motion of electric charge, resulting in attractive and repulsive forces between objects.
Magnetic field definition: a region around a magnetic material or a moving electric charge within which the force of magnetism acts.

Now can you stop pretending this is not what we are discussing here?

You pretend the lunar magnetic field is affecting the cavendish experiment. How do you know this?
NASA is using magnetometers ON the moon  and onboard satellites to determine the moon's magnetic field.
How can you possibly agree with NASA on this?
You agree you cannot take measurements yourself so how do you determine that NASA is not lying again?

You say " if the results are consistent with our results and there are no objections other than us, the result is correct".
But you don't have any results to compare with NASA's results.
Understand this?

So when NASA claims something you like, they don't lie. And when they claim something you don't like, they lie. Thats pretty convenient isn't it?
Actually, yes it is. Because our arguments generally are the only opposite arguments of NASA. In majority of cases, only flat earthers object the claims of NASA. Since there will be not other objections remain, when Flat Earthers agree in a point with NASA, that claim turns a common point. get it?

NASA took measurements during Apollo mission to determine current magnetism and analized samples brought back to determine past magnetism.
it doesn't matter what they claim. important result. if the results are consistent with our results and there are no objections other than us, the result is correct. but I can still say that this sample was not taken from apollo. for example, we accept some of the photos taken by nasa with high-altitude aircraft. but he claims he transferred all the photos from the ISS. We reject the ISS, but we can accept photos that he took from airplanes but claimed to have taken from the ISS. Of course, by knowing it was taken from the plane.

How did YOU determine current magnetism here from Earth?
Show me where I used the term of "MANYETISM" ?? Stop to manipulation.

Remember, no globularist data allowed.
Show me when I told this. If it was objective, true and repeatable why do I deny it? No reason. This is what you think about Flat earthers or what you want to define we are so; but I am sorry, we are not.
Really, you cant scroll up to see where you talked about the lunar magnetism?
Here is a clue: reply #33

So you agree with some data taken from apollo missions but not all of it.
Magnetic readings taken by astronauts  is good but no samples were brought back correct?
How about your data?
You say your data matches Nasa data and that is why you beleive Nasa in this particular case.
How did you come about this data?
How did you measure the moon's magnetic field and its effects here on earth?

Flat Earth General / Re: Cavendish experiment

Proven. Case closed.[/b]

Typical flat earther. Ignoring substantial questions (or everything) and claiming a 'victory'.

- Does the moon affects a compass?
- Why does the Cavendish experiment always work, no matter the position of the moon?
- How does the moon affect metal?

Stop to do prejudices. Classic angry globularist.

- Moon affects metals have been shown by NASA, this is what NASA admitted. Do not manipulate the issue whether affect compass or not. This is childish, just childish behaviour what you have.
- It simply turns the position of the moon wherever position of the moon be. Then follows it.
- Ask it to NASA. They have admitted its existance.
So when NASA claims something you like, they don't lie. And when they claim something you don't like, they lie. Thats pretty convenient isn't it?

How do you measure the magnetic field of the moon?
I was mostly asking the professor how he came about to think the moon has a magnetic field and how he measured it in order to claim it has any effect here on earth.

So Wise, since you cannot use globularist data, how would you quantify moon's magnetic field?

Shouldn't be hard since you claim there are so many.
